I totally didn't know that there was a type of android phone. I just thought that was the Motorola Droid. But apparently android is a type of phone, like a flip phone or a smart phone! Can anyone tell me the difference between an android phone and a smart phone?

My car runs fine and everything but it is getting older (2005 VW Jetta) and was thinking about getting a tune up. I just didn't know what it does or how it helps.

I recently got a new digital camera and it has a "smart auto" feature that is automatically used in which the camera detects the lighting conditions and automatically selects the best type of shot (there are many). So far it has been hit and miss for me because there have been some shots were the flash didn't go off which is frustrating since the pic turns out dark and bad looking. Is this something that will work itself out or should I manually change it so flashes come in every shot?

I don't use ebay all that often, but I lately I have been a bit more, and I was wondering if I should sign up for Pay Pal. I just want to know if there are any disadvantages of using it. I read through their info section and they stated that they are an independent third party contractor, essentially the "middle man" so I was wondering do they charge comission or something for their services. Also, they said they could call you and leave automated voice messages which is pretty lame. Can anyone w/ Pay Pal tell me about these things or other advantages / disadvantages I should be aware of. A friend of mine is having a baby (my first pregnant friend I feel like i'm growing up!) and I want to get her a camcorder for the babyshower present. I think it's a good gift so she can capture her baby's growth after its born! Anyways, I have done a bit of research on the subject, but not sure what is the best type of camcorder to get. From what i can tell, there are three major kinds: DVD, flash drive, and hard drive. Can anyone tell me a little about the pros and cons of each of these and what they think would be the best one to get? Thanks! : )

And how much do you like it? I have an upgrade coming up and I'm contemplating what to get! Right now I have a blackberry curve. It seems like basically most people have either an iPhone or a Droid. Those seem to be the two cool "it" phones. I'm just wondering what people have these days! : )

I was just wondering approximately how many pictures can 1 MB hold and 1 GB hold. I know that GBs are bigger and what not, I just wanted to compare the two. Thank you! : )

So my old digital cam is beginning to flake out on me and now I want to a get a new one. I have a general idea of what I want, the thing that confuses me is which type of battery is better: 1) standard double AAs or 2) rechargeable lithium-ion batery.

My old cam used double AAs which was fine because I always used the rechargeable kind of AAs so I didn't spend a lot of money on batteries (I think I had like 6 rechargeable batteries and just rotating them for the past three years). However, one complain I had was the battery life wasn't exactly great. I've never had a lithion-ion battery for a camera so that is the variable here. Is it generally considered "better" than using AAs or is it just a matter of preference since a lot of new cameras still use AAs while a lot have changed over to the lithion-ion kind? Is it the car battery? If so, does it take use a lot or only a negligible amount of power. Also, do things like the AC and heater run off the car battery power, too? Thanks! : )

So lately I've been thinking about buying a saxophone and learning to play it. At first I thought it was a phase, but it's been two months and I still feel the same. I looked online and there are different kinds of saxaphones, such as alto, soprano, baritone, etc. I'm confused because I don't know what kind would be best for me. Also, how much should I spend, as they vary in price from $300 - $5,000. That is a lot of variance so I'm not sure how much I should put into this little musical investment.

Kind of like how everyone has an IPOD. I kind of think it's unneccessary. Can't people wait until they go home to look up You Tube videos or use their face book or whatever. Technology ha.

That's what I'm thinking I'll be doing this year. Maybe some new boots! Or perfume!

I'm taking a trip later this month and will rent a car for a couple of days. Should I choose insurance, the minimal cost is around $8 per day, so it's not too much or anything. I was wondering if most people got the insurance just in case something happens. Normally I would, but I always hear people say that getting insurance for these kinds of things is stupid.

I know I've heard of it being a crime, but when does it apply? For instance, if someone is coming out of a club after a few (or more) drinks and walking the street at 2 AM looking for a cab, that wouldn't be something to get arrested over, would it? But I guess if someone is drunk at 5 PM in a crowded mall that makes sense. So there has to be times when it is applicable and times when it's not, right?

I have thought about getting them before to add a few inches, much quicker than growing it out.

Also, is it true that the majority of elected officials are democrats?

Nicolas Sparks is pretty cliche sappy writer, but i can't help but want to see this movie. Does that make me a hopeless romantic or hopelessly lame?
