When my parakeet was a baby, he always was fluffy and cuddly-looking, now he always looks skinny and his head is always small (Trust me, I know this bird eats well. He is not underweight xD He's just not fluffy.) He fluffs up often after stretching, but he never stays fluffed up unless the following things happen:

1. He's really, really tired.

2. I just cleaned his cage, and gave him a new treat and some new food and water, so now he's incredibly happy.

3. He just ate.

4. He's napping.

Even when he fluffs up, he's never as fluffy looking as other parakeets, All other parakeets look fluffy and he looks skinny and terrified. Anyone know how to make your parakeet fluffy? He preens often, and I've tried petting him more often (He bites me sometimes, but he's growing out of it I think! :D)

I have a budgie, around 6-12 months old. He only bit me lightly for the first few weeks that I got him, then he was a total sweetheart, he would never bite me even if he got scared. He was loyal, and he loved being pet and constantly perching on my finger.

Around the 2nd month of having my budgie, he escaped his cage, and my mom put him back by throwing a towel over him, catching him and then putting him back in. He keeps biting my family members, including me, ever since then.

It's gotten to the point where he bites so hard, it tears the skin on my finger. I've tried everything. I've tried telling him "NO!" when he bites me, I've tried just ignoring it when he bites me when I go to pet him, and I've also just left him alone for 2 minutes after biting, each time. Nothing works. I've done so much research and I don't know how to get him to stop. He's nice sometimes and let's me pet him, but that's only after I do a deep cleaning of his cage, or once I put him to bed, pet him and then leave the room. Those are the two times he never bites me. He has never been out of his cage but I plan to take him out soon. I've had him for 3 months. Any ideas on what I can do?

I'm 13 years old, no friends, I don't go to school cause i'm homeschooled, and I really want to make friends, my parents always ask me "Why don't you and your brother meet the kids across the street?" "Go meet those kids around the block!" and so on. But then, I can just IMAGINE this, if I would try to leave the house, even if it was with my older brother, they would get so confused and would probably think I was mad at them or was up to no good. I hate feeling locked up. I ALWAYS go places with them, and have NEVER, EVER left the house on my own. It upsets me. Anyone know what I can do to take this feeling away, and make sure they aren't so confused?

Okay, so not once have I ever entered public school. I'm a teenager, and I feel so lonely. I haven't felt this way before, up until the past few weeks. I realized that I had no friends. All my friends are hundreds of miles away from me, and I can only talk to them through the internet obviously. I've been self taught throughout most of my life, but my parents have taught me quite a few of the things that I know. I feel like I'm missing out on everything, I never leave the house except to go shopping, I never get to talk to other kids. I'm shy, so whenever I talk to another person my face turns beat red, and it's embarrassing, and I don't ever know what to talk about. I feel like if I ever met a friend, they'd think I was dumb because I was homeschooled. I know it's too late to join public school, so maybe next year. Do you think I should? My parents probably wouldn't want me to, because we had that talk this year, and they said it was terrible and they'd never want to go back, and they had no friends and there was always groups and stuff. But that's what I want. I want to be in groups. My mother pressures me to meet new friends but HOW am I supposed to meet friends when I'm never around anyone I don't know all day? :I Any opinion's on if i should stay homeschooled or go to public school?

I love my boyfriend, and I've been wanting to see him in real life for so many years. He never wants to talk about it, all he says is "soon" to end the conversation. He used to be mean and disrespectful, but we worked that out. He said he loves me, and I love him. I tell him I love him every single night, but some nights i'm just so tired, I log off (We chat through oovoo, and you can message people when they're offline) and he doesn't reply sometimes, if he does, it's just "Love you". so I started to be short back, and I told him before I went to bed yesterday "even if you're AFK ignoring me (which he does), I will still tell you I love you, even though you decide not to reply back sometimes." and he said it was due to the fact I log off before he says it, or that "Oovoo glitches" which it DOESN'T.. He never compliments me, if he does, it's once every 3-5 months. It's a very rare, yet sometimes sweet, compliment. And I'm complimented by it more then I am when anyone else says it to me, cause it ACTUALLY makes me feel beautiful. I don't really listen to my parents or family when they say it, cause it's just normal for family to say it, though I do take it as a small compliment. My mom compliments me more them my boyfriend. Any advice? :/

I have a boyfriend, and I've never dated anyone in real life. Only online. Before you ask, I know that this guys a kid as well, because I've video called him, voice call, etc. And i've known him for a few years. I've never had my first kiss and I've always wanted to kiss. He's all I think about, I've been wanting to kiss him for a few years, and that's all I think about when I think of the day that we meet. I always think about wanting to just kiss him for some reason, all day, whenever I get the chance to. Is this normal? Do I sound crazy? XD He kind of just ignores me when I try to talk to him about seeing me someday. All he says is "soon." then he just stops talking, even when I say extremely long sentences.

I got it a month ago, and I checked and it was a light blue (It's very young, I got it at the pet store) and I assumed it was a boy, Just today I found that it had a mix of blue, purple and pink on his cere. Can anyone tell me what gender my budgie is? Thanks!

I'm pretty young, and I don't have very many friends, In real life I have a few friends, but it's because I've known them all my life and I'm comfortable around them. I have tons of friends online and ones I play minecraft with. There's two cute guys around my age who I'd like to meet and get to know, but I don't know how to go over there and introduce myself without making myself sound like a nerd. Can anyone at least give me some advice? I'm homeschooled so I'm not very social with anyone at all.

We've gone out with each other 3 times, I'd say that I'm pretty happy with him (This is the third time we've been together.) I'm in love with him, and hes in love with me. We live 975 miles apart so I can't see him in real life, and I haven't, and I can't until I can afford to go see him myself. I video call him occasionally, we talk everyday and stuff like that. I've never had my first kiss, I keep having dreams about me seeing him, and occasionally we kiss in the dream. Does this mean anything? Does this somehow mean I'll be able to see him soon? I've always wanted to see him, though we never often talk about seeing each other in real life, I know it will be soon though, hopefully in a few years.

What I mean is, like, if you were trying to be funny, then you shot yourself with for example, a water gun, would that be illegal?

Okay, so I've read alot on Hair Chalk, I love to draw so I have art chalks that I could use. I plan to only do it every once in a while. I got the chalks from Michaels, i'm not sure what the brand is right now. But would it ruin my hair at all? I plan on only doing it on the ends of my hair, and I don't plan on cutting it afterwards, only washing it out after a few days.

I've found a good deal on a Parakeet kit, and I'm looking to buy a parakeet. I'd like to get answers on what I'd have to do to take care of it, and if it'd be good as a first pet bird. I have a dog, and I have some experience with dogs, and fish, so I'm good with pets I suppose. What will I need? By the way, it will be a baby parakeet.

Food-wise?

Any litter? Bedding?

Any special medication?

Do they bite?

Can I handle it?

Are they loud?

Do they chirp at night?
