  • e-commerice service Tax and Paypal?

I am pretty sure you must pay Tax for your earnings, even online.

    How do you pay it?

    When do you pay it?

Can you use your personal bank account with business paypal acount?

If your account is verified, does the income count towards the bank account hooked up to the paypal account?

Have you had to pay tax?

What if you earned 10 grand lets say, and you bought a computer on ebay for a grand, can you just say you only earned 9 grand, or will the tax office, know you earned 10 grand?

Does Paypal have the right to remove money and just give it to the Tax man?

No idea about TAX and paypal, any info will help.

How it the tax if you earn more than $6500 ?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Find the dead load of simply supported beam?

A beam has a solid square cross section of 100 mm and is simply supported by two supports 3 m apart. Calculate the dead load that can be safely supported when applied to the middle of the beam.

    * The question doesn't state material but I'm informed that it is mild steel. *

    Square beam - d = 100 mm

    Distance between supports - L = 3 m

    Sigma(bending stress)= M(max bending momement) / Z(section modulus)

I found from the book that the bending stress is 450 N/mm2, the max bending moment for a simply supported beam in the middle is WL/4 and the section modulus is d/2.

So we have to find the dead load which is W i think !

  • Group Theory (Permutations-Cyclic)?

    Question:

The two-line symbols for permutations p and q in S5 are

    p =

    1 2 3 4 5

    4 3 2 5 1

    and

    q =

    1 2 3 4 5

    3 4 1 2 5

    (a) Write down the permutations p, q, p−1 and q−1 in cycle form.

    (b) Determine the permutations p ◦ q and q ◦ p in cycle form, and write

    down the orders of p, q, p ◦ q and q ◦ p.

    (c) Write p and q as composites of transpositions, and state the parity

    of p and of q.

    (d) Let r be the permutation whose cycle form is (1 3 5 2). Find, in cycle

    form, the permutation s = r ◦ p ◦ r−1, that is, the conjugate

    of p by r.

    (e) Determine the elements of the cyclic subgroup H of S5 generated by p.

Can you please solve this question. Thank you very much!
