Hi! I'm a clarinet and piano player who speaks fluent Chinese and is also a handwriting analyst in training. I mostly answer questions about the Bb clarinet, and questions about Chinese (translations and such). I'm a part of many fandoms-- I'm a Matrix Trilogy fan, Star Wars fan, Harry Potter fan, HG2G fan, Inception fan (point man position on extraction team), Keanu Reeves fan. Member of Keanu SWAT team (whoaisnotme.net). I'm looking for a full orchestral/choral score of Neodammerung (Matrix Revolutions OST), if anyone knows where to find that...

  • Bleaching dyed hair?

Hi! I have a fictional character with natural platinum blond hair. Over the course of the story he dyes it brown for years (hiding identity), then a kidnapper dyes it back to platinum blond for him. Is that possible? Can you bleach dyed hair?

I've never dyed my hair before... haha.

    Thanks for the help.

  • Is cork grease flammable?

I mean the cork grease used for clarinets, saxophones, and oboes. It is flammable? Is it as flammable as vaseline or hand sanitizer? Can it be used as a fire starter in emergency situations?

(Just need to know this for writing purposes, haha.)

  • How can you kill a jellyfish without taking it out of the water?

Or are those bastards really immortal?

I have the weird feeling that underwater machine gun fire wouldn't do much against them.

(Please don't give either of these answers: a submarine torpedo or a nuclear explosion. Answers like that aren't very helpful, haha.)

  • How long would a clarinet burn for?

(I'm a clarinet player myself and would NEVER do this in real life!)

There's a tragic moment in this story I'm writing where 11 students must keep a fire burning in order to survive. They start a fire with some matches and sheet music, but there isn't any wood in the room except for their 11 clarinets.

How long would it take for one clarinet to burn completely? Thanks!

  • Lump inside my breast?

My right nipple has been hurting for a few days now. When I press it, I can feel a lump inside the breast, but I don't feel one on my left sight. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Thanks.

  • Pepper spray injection?

I once read a brief statement mentioning that an injection of capsaicin (active ingredient in pepper spray) would cause heightened sensitivity to pain. I know very well the effects of being sprayed with it, but I'm not sure about pepper spray injection.

Anyone know if this is true? Would it actually stimulate pain, or just result in allodynia/hyperalgesia? How bad would be pain be? What might it feel like? How long would it last? Any side effects?

(I'm a writer, and this is a story idea. No worries: I don't have anyone locked up in my cellar. :)

  • klu klux klan website?

I heard from someone that if you go on the KKK website, even just out of curiosity, major colleges and the government will start tracking your IP address or something. Anyone know if this is true?

(I went on there today using a proxy server just to see what it looked like... and I'm Asian, so it's not like interested in signing up, haha.)

  • How much blood can an adult lose per day?

More specifically: how much blood (in milliliters) can an adult lose daily for three weeks and still remain conscious on day 21? Is it possible for this to cause permanent blindness? What about temporary blindness? I was thinking maybe 20-30 milliliters per day, but I'm not sure. Note: the blood is taken by force, not lost from injuries/natural reasons.

(Reason for this admittedly rather disturbing question: a fictional character of mine is not in a good situation :| )

  • Silent Hill official movie website question?

Sometimes, when you click on certain things, it takes you to a certain room that is in the demonic dimension. There's a plant that rustles and moves, and there's a repetitive and annoying telephone ringing. Is there any way to get out of there, or is that a dead end? Is there any purpose for that page to exist? :|

  • Is each individual square of a rubix cube in the same position after it is solved and resolved?

I'm planning a mini-treasure hunt for my sister's birthday and if I wrote a clue on the white face of a rubix cube and scrambled it, would it be the same after she had solved it?

    Thanks!

  • What if I want to publish a book based on a movie?

I want to publish a screenplay novel based on the matrix revolutions (or reloaded, I'm not sure yet) but I was wondering if you had to contact the directors? What is the Wachowski brothers' email addresses, anyway?

    Thanks!
