I have bought Lenovo B40-70 notebook just a few days ago. I am asking this question is i have a doubt whether dealer gave me brand new one or product which is few days used.

Please note:

I don't have any issues with this laptop till now, no scratches, no worn out key pads, no noticeable sign that could proof its not a brand new. On the other hand, it is to be noted that, my battery wear level is shown 4%. My question is, is it normal for a brand new laptop having 4% worn out battery pack or my laptop is just a used product

I have Xperia Z. My Battery Life was OK and lasts upto 1 and half day or 2 days comfortably. But recently, my battery drops to 4% and after that, I charged the battery to 100%. Since then my battery is draining so fast. Now, it lasts only half a day.

is there any particular reason? How to fix?

I wonder how to transfer files between two PCs. Actually, I have a Laptop running FileZilla, I want to transfer files from my Cousin's PC. I have tried many times, each time error shows:

"Connection Timed out. Can not connect to server".

I Have ASUS K42F notebook that has Core i5 CPU (2.53 GHz Turbo Boost upto 2.80 GHz). I am using this for last three months. But i have some questions about temperature of my laptop.

What is the safe temperature of my Laptop in both Idle/Working Mode?

Is Chassis temperature and CPU temperature same or not?

I am experiencing 39-45 Degree Celcius within 30 minutes during idle mode.

But during severe CPU usage more than 50 Degree Celcius

What is the best software to monitor temperature?

First, Sorry for the silly question. I have ASUS K42F VX308D Laptop. It has cooling vent (with Fan) on left side and some vents openings on the bottom. One for CPU, one for memory devices, one for motherboard, and other one is for HDD. Now, when i use it on my bed, i used to put it on hard covered book so that left side cooling vents are open to exhaust air. But the book covered one of the vents located bottom of the laptop. Is it necessary to remain open all the vents at the bottom of it? If i constantly do the same thing, will it face an overheating issues?

I have a Dell Vostro A860 laptop. But the problem is that I have dropped my laptop from the reading table. Firstly this caused screens to be flickered but after restarting until now, it is working. But, my question is, dropping from the table would cause how much problem or slight damage to the notebook. Does it affect hard disk or any other hardware parts?...plz...reply me....
