  • How difficult is it to heat a greenhouse in a cold climate area?

I'm looking to build a greenhouse, anywhere between 528 sq feet to 4000 sq feet. Unsure of the size I'm going with, just yet. What I'd like to know is how difficult is it to maintain a greenhouse at a temperature of 60 degrees or higher during the winter months in upstate, NY. I know, ideally, tomatoes need to be kept 60 degrees or higher to produce fruit regularly.

  • Can a moving company come pick Up my house hold goods, then in mid move transfer them to a bigger truck.?

A moving company came with an empty straight truck, filled it with my stuff. Then when they left between my house and my new address, they switched it out of the original truck and put it in another truck to do the gross weight with House hold goods. My question is, is it legal for them to switch trucks mid move with out my consent or letting me know?

  • I'm stuck on a crochet pattern!?

So I'm trying to whip up a crochet apron. The pattern is from Lily Sugar'n Cream - Apron.

I'm stuck on the part where it tells me to pleat.

Now when I pleat do I fold it forward then pin or backwards. Then from there on, I am confused with where I am suppose to attach my chain.

So this is what it says:

Pleats: With RS of apron facing, place marker along top edge 6 ins from either side.

Fold 1 inch pleat and pin in position.

Ties and Waistband: 1st Row: With A, ch 42. With RS facing, join with sl st to upper left corner of apron. Working through all thicknesses of pleats, work 1 sc in each st across top of apron to end of row. Ch 43. turn.

Now am i suppose to work at the bottom of the pleat where i ended my crochet across or on the very top of the pleat. ( thats if I am doing the pleat right) and how do I work across when I am attaching from the left side. Am I suppose to turn.

    Really confused! Please need help!

    Thank you

  • I am stuck on this crochet pattern!?

I am working on a place mat and right off the bat... I'm stuck! The pattern is a redheart pattern called Cornmeal mats. The place I am stuck at is Row 3 and it states....

Ch1, sc in first sc, *Ldc over next ch-1 space into sc 2 rows below, sc in next sc* repeat across; turn.

Ok so I am confused on the Ldc over next ch-1 space into sc 2 rows below. Not sure what Ldc means or how to get to the 2 rows below.

Please some one help! I want to make these for Thanksgiving dinner place mats. Thank you!

  • I am stuck on a crochet pattern!?

I am trying to Crochet up the Pattern "Aaron's Hat Trick #5". I am stuck on line six, well right after line six. Line six states "(single crochet in each of next 4 stitches, 2 single crochet in next stitch) 4 times. Ok so I get that, and I am starting my next round with 24 stitches like it says. but when I try to do next step I am getting stuck and things are not coming out even. So here is the part I need cleared up...

Repeat Round 6, working one more single crochet between increases on each round, until there are 36 (40,44)

I would like the larger of the size, so I think working to 44 would work out for the hat size I am aiming for. So how do I do this repeat? I am not sure what it means when it says work one more single crochet between increases.

    Please help!

    Thank you

  • What's the point in washing a pot that all you did was boil water in?

Ok, say you boil water to make a cup of soup. The pot never had anything but water inside of it. You finish putting water in the cup of soup and dump the remaining water. Now, do you dry the pot and put it away or do you put it in the dishwasher?

  • Is Final Fantasy XI only played online?

I cannot play online and am looking for a decent game like FF to play on XBox 360. I am just looking for something to kill some time so, I'm not looking for anything new. Used and cheap is fine with me. I was looking at Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion or Lost Odyssey. I'm open for suggestions, as well.

  • Any word on release of Diablo 3?

The Blizzard website gives little to no info on how soon it may be released. I was just wondering if anybody has gotten any info that's not released yet.

  • How do I remove a profile from an Xbox 360?

I purchased an Xbox 360 from a friend at work and his profile must be considered the main one. Anytime I turn it on, I have to switch profiles to my own. So, being that he's not gonna have it anymore, I'd like to remove his profile and make mine the primary so I don't have to change it everytime I turn it on.

  • Does anybody know where or if I can find aftermarket fairings for a Kawi Ninja 500?

I like the way the bike looks but, I'd rather have a full fairing, if there's anything that looks good on the bike.
