How do I get rid of Yahoo Axis?
the new Axis app is not useful to me, how do I get rid of it?

...and how many conservatives can be counted on to move there when that happens or how many other red states can be counted on to follow?
7 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo Republicans and Libertarians who object to coerced or forced participation in?
government run functions like, god forbid, universal health insurance "rammed down their throats" and all the other extreme characterization, also object to taxes for government schools and forced government education, or being taxed for roads, or being forced to have car insurance, or government building inspectors watching over your shoulder, forcing you to build the way THEY want it done, or socialist health inspectors making sure your restaurant is clean when that's none of their business? If people don't trust you to keep it clean they don't have to eat there!
5 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agowhere does the right get the idea?
that the left wants "free stuff", to have "the government" provide everything? Nothing is free. WE ARE the government. I don't want anyone to GIVE me anything! I work hard, I make my own way, I provide for all my families needs, I have health insurance. I have saved for retirement. What the left seeks is all of us working together, pooling resources in a responsible, cooperative, proportioned way, so we can provide for ourselves and each other things we cannot do as well alone....like roads, schools, AND health care. None of it is free...I pay lotsa taxes. We can do better together than we can working only to provide for ourselves.
9 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoplay along....what would you say if evidence that 9/11 was an inside job was convincing...?
...to your satisfaction that 9/11 was carried out by Cheney, his people, Blackwater and the Mossad.?......for the purpose of having an excuse to invade Iraq and the middle east, in general?....for oil and for Israel?
15 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoDoes anyone still believe.....?
....that the invasion of Iraq had or has anything to do with 9/11? ....that Cheney's reasons had anything to do with some noble cause to free the Iraqi people or others in the middle east? ....the invasions were not solely for empire and oil? ...that the wars have anything to do with protecting American freedoms or being patriotic? If so, wake up...you've been conned!
11 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoshould the US have invaded Mexico instead of Iraq?
Mexico had just as much to do with 9/11 as Iraq...that is, nothing! It has oil. The US could have cleaned out the drug cartels, reorganized the government, rebuilt Mexico's economy, instead of Iraq's, making Mexico a prosperous new country with jobs and a future, and that would reverse immigration, drawing most, if not all, the Illegals in the US from south of the border, home.
20 AnswersPolitics1 decade agonow that a health care reform bill has passed and has been signed into law?
will it make Texas secession more likely?......I hope so. And, I hope half a dozen or more like minded states join the movement. The country is SO polarized, some consideration ought to be given to a divorce! The compromise area in the middle is not where everybody is happy, it's where nobody is happy.
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoDo climate change skeptics deny the overwhelming preponderance of scientific data?
because of economic and/or religious grounds? Are they prevented from understanding the implications by their attachment to current lifestyles which would have to change dramatically in order to prevent the consequences?
9 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agowhy is it so hard for many to understand......?
that the wars in the middle east are about oil and empire? let's get something straight....the Bush Admin discussed the removal of Saddam 10 days after taking office in 2001...according to then Treasury Sec't O'Neill who attended those meetings. the governments explanation of the events as 911 are clearly bogus, leading to the likelihood that it was an inside job. the wars are for oil and control, absolutely. they are not about noble efforts to free the people of the middle east. there are evil rulers around the world, but we are not attacking them...they have no oil.
6 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoHow can anyone see the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as patriotic? Participation in these wars of empire?
are unpatriotic. The people who got us into them should be charged with treason and jailed. Corporations have taken control of the government and now have their own military to use as they wish to support their commercial and economic interests.

7 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoIf TX, LA, MS, AL, GA, SC, OK seceded, what would the new Republic look like?
What changes? What would be eliminated? What would be added?
9 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agowouldn't be interesting to see what happens......?
Texas secedes, DC says the Supreme Court says you can't do that, Austin says we don't care about the US SC anymore, DC sends Federal Marshalls to Austine and Gov. Perry meets them at the State House steps with TX state troopers....Fed Marshalls say cease and desist or you will be arrested....Perry says, you have no jurisdiction here anymore and if you don't high tail it back across the border, you'll be arrested for entering The Republic of Texas illegally. What then? Fed troops, TX national guard.....are we gonna do this again or be smart about it and let TX secede, wish them well and suggest they might wanna come back someday?
1 AnswerOther - Politics & Government1 decade agowhy doesn't the news media differentiate between the opponents of healthcare reform?
Many...me incl....are opposed to the current bill, not because I don't want health care reform or like the status quo, but because it's a weak and poor excuse for what we need.... Universal Health Insurance that covers every US citizen. Canada has that and, contrary to the myths coming from insurance companies, it works VERY well and costs far less than what we have, now....which is no system at all.
2 AnswersPolitics1 decade agosomebody explain why the right is SO against health care reform? are they also against all the other stuff?
we do through our governments like schools, roads, fire depts, libraries, health inspectors, social security and medicare that every retired person benefits from, etc.?
3 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agowhat is the best way to encourage Texas and other right wing, conservative areas to secede?
I'm sick and tired of the influence right wing, conservative people have on the government of this country. It would better for them and for me if they got their wish and seceded from the USA and formed The Republic of Texas. I suspect other states...LA, MS, AL, GA, SC, OK, etc would soon join them.
8 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoAre the aristocrats back?
history has gone from a time of royal houses and royal courts that owned nearly everything, to revolution, to democracy, and now back to the aristocracy and royal houses, only today the royal courts are the corporations and the kings, queens, dukes, earls, barons, princes and princesses are the CEO's, exec, managers, directors and the offspring of aristocratic parents living on fabulous estates, attending the best private schools, skiing in Aspen, traveling the world. Is it time for another revolution?
