how long did it take for the Moon to orbit the Earth when it first formed.?
I know that the Moon was 14,000 miles away from the Earth so orbital circumference will be smaller, and since the moon was closer to the Earth its orbital speed will be faster.
any answers, websites, and formulas would be helpful
4 AnswersAstronomy & Space10 years agoWhy is Jupiter much denser then Saturn?
Jupiter is not that much larger then Saturn, and they are made out of the same materials. Saturn has 95 Earth masses and Jupiter has 318 Earth mass. Jupiter is just 1.19 the size of Jupiter and is 3.3 times more massive. Is it possible that Jupiter could have been bigger in the past but then collapsed on its self, making the Jupiter we see today.

5 AnswersPhysics1 decade agocamera trap problems?
I bought it in the fall (it worked just fine), and used it a few times and put it in a safe spot for winter. Today I put new batteries in it to get it ready for spring, and now it won't stay on for more then a few sec. So is there any fixable problem in it. Or do i just have to get a new one.
P.S. my Dad bought the same model of camera and his works just fine.

2 AnswersBiology1 decade agoCould you get a red dwarf if you smash Jupiter and Saturn together?
I know Jupiter is almost large enough to become a brown dwarf. I have done the math if the two planets crash together it could meet the min size needed to become a red dwarf and if not if you smash all the gas planets together could it then make a red dwarf.
