  • Wrong version of Windows showing?

    I recently re-installed my operating system, with the disk that came with my system. I have a Dell XPS 400 desktop. The operating system should be Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition 2005, after the reformat, the system properties shows Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition Version 2002. I discovered this as I was doing updates after the reformat, and Windows Media Player 11 would not install. I get an error message stating that my operating system is not supported. Can anyone help? I just want to get the correct version of Windows back on my PC. Thanks.
