Hot chocolate chex mix recipe?
I was at a friends house awhile back and their mom had made a chex mix that seemed like it was made from hot chocolate mix. it had the coco flavor and it had the mini marshmallows that come with the mix. i've searched and can't seem to find a recipe for it anywhere. has anyone heard of this? if so a recipe or a link to one would be great. thanks

4 AnswersHorses1 decade agoAnimal Communicators? Real or fake?
My mom and i are looking at having an animal communicator come out to the barn to see our horses. I am a bit skeptic to the idea, but my mom says it could just be fun if anything, its not that expensive and to just do it.
I want your opinions and stories if you've had experience with one.
Thanks
8 AnswersHorses1 decade agois there something wrong with his leg?
my horse has always moved weird with his back legs since the day we got him (about a year ago) but recently when i bend his head around to the right and he takes a step.. he freaks and jumps for no apparent reason. he has never been able to take his right lead, he was like that when i got him. he was abused when we got him.. he was a good 75lbs underweight and he had rhino virus (i don't think that matters but ya never know)
and the trainer at the barn was working with him today on his right lead and when he bent his head around to the right he did the same he has done for me the past few days, flipped just didn't like it. and he told me it seems as though he does it cause of pain.
he developed scratches on one of his hind legs but i've been treating it. i do plan on talking to a vet i just want to see if anyone has any opinions as to whats going on. he has just been doing this the past few days.. last week he didn't do any of this.
thanks
4 AnswersHorses1 decade agojumping help question
i haven't been jumping very long, i've ridden for bout 6 years just never tried jumping. anyway i was watching another girl at our barn working with her horse on jumping and after she went over the jump she said something like "she changed leads like she's supposed to, but she didn't have to since there was only one jump"
is your horse supposed to switch leads? i'm going into a small cross rail jumping class at an up coming show. i heard that it just has two jumps in it. but i'm just confused about switching leads now.
thanks..

2 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agohorse trick training?
i have taught my horse to bow but the problem is he won't do it off of a cue such as a whip. i have tried to teach him to do it with a whip cue by tapping behind the leg he is to bow down on but all he does is just pick up that leg. i have been working on it for a few weeks (just the cue training part he's known how to bow for a while) and i've had no luck with that.
any one have any ideas on other ways i could teach him the cue to bow?
thanks
here is a pic of him just so you what he can do

i have a 6yr old Norwegian fjord mare. we have a show on the july 13th. does anyone have any special grooming tips like what to do with her mane (i do keep her mane cut so it does stand up with the black stripe in the middle)
any little tips would be great. i've had her for awhile but this is my first time going into a show (i've been riding for 6yrs just never had any interest in showing) and i want her to look nice.

1 AnswerCountry1 decade agoShy Guy Problem?
ok so there is this shy guy that i like.. i'm shy too, but i started trying to talk to him more to get him comfortable around me (he sits behind me in algebra). and he was.. he was starting to get ok with it.. he even laughed at me once. and i was like WOW because he never did that... but thats not the point.
k well long story short me and my friend were walking up the stairs and he was directly in front of us and then as we get toward the top of the stairs she yells really loud "Hey Alex" (thats his name) and i knew she would do that so i tried to bail and i know that doing that stuff bothers guys.. epically shy guys. idk how to fix the situation. now he is probably all freaked out. i didn't see him the next day he wasn't at school.
how could i fix this.. so it will be ok again? i'm confused. what would you do?
