Been digitally archiving the family photo albums, a few of them were the rubbish self adhesive albums where after 20 years the photos are almost superglued down, having destroyed the album removing the photos i need a replacement 10cm x 13 cm album or 4x5 inch album, does anyone know where i might get one, i have searched ebay with no luck, google with no luck, there must be a one somewhere??

Upgrading my gaming pc, bit of an amateur in this regard so want some advice, have narrowed down the CPU i want to a core i7 3770k Ivy bridge series, and GPU to the AMD HD 6970, mainboards chipset i have narrowed down to the Z77, now just need to decide on which mboard to get, i'm going for an MSI board, and have a choice of these GD65, GD55, GD45, GD43, any thoughts?

i'm wanting to get a mortgage and move out of my folks house, i have an idea as to how much monthly mortgage payments might be but i want to have some idea as to what state monthly bills for living in a house on my own might be, can anyone give me an idea on average the monthly bills might be for a single person in full time work living in a 2 bed house, i.e. gas £30, elec £40, water, council tax, home insurance, food etc etc. thanks this will really help me out

We've known each other for a few years now and i have asked her if we could date or be more than friends in the past back in December 09, she said "i've been thinking about what you said & i'm pleased you told me. It's really not the best time for me, what with going to oz next April & i'd rather just be friends right now. It would only make things difficult. Hope you understand what i mean x".

So i was cool with that, i was disappointed of course but happy we could still be friends, she also said it was just easier this way and that she was still not really over her ex (they split in the june of 09) and it would be unfair.

Call me an idiot but i took that to mean that right now is not a good idea but there may be a shot in the future, so we kept on being friends, going out to comedy gigs and having drinks etc, i sent her some flowers for valentines in Feb 2010, i wrote on the card "hope these make you smile as you always make me smile, happy valentines day xxx" and left the from part anonymous. We email each other from work all the time and i coyly brought up valentines day saying i had nothing come through my door and asked if she got anything, she said "i got a few texts from friends and also a beautiful bunch of red roses that cheered me up no end, but they were anonymous so i couldn't thank the sender, but they should know i'm very grateful and they cheered me up no end" so i came clean at that point and said i'm glad they did what the card said to which she thanked me.

She went travelling to Australia for a year from April 2010 but before she went we got together with some friends to wish her farewell, a mutual friend and i had gotten her a st christopher necklace for her travels, and after a few drinks she was leaving so we done all the hugging and i don't know if it was an accident or not but i went to kiss her cheek and we briefly locked lips instead, and there was no awkwardness about it afterwards either no funny looks etc.

So she jetted off for a year and i got a few postcards over the year and a few emails n texts etc, now she got back in May last year and we've been to a few comedy gigs and had a few drinks, and still email each other at work almost daily etc but she's stopped adding x's to the ends of her texts, not all of them though, but anyway i want to see if there might be a chance for us to move things beyond friendship but i can't seem to bring myself to bring it up again, i'm worried she may not feel the same way and be weirded out, maybe i misread things in the beginning and "just stay friends right now" means we'll never be anything more than friends. So i was going to send some valentines day flowers a bunch of red roses with some chocolates and i was thinking of writing this on the card "I've been meaning to tell you for a while you know I care for you a great deal & I just want to let you know how special you are to me. You're in my thoughts and in my heart. Happy Valentine's day xxx" and signing from me, and seeing if that gets me anywhere, what do you guys think, should i go for it or what?

i have no details on it, it's an american film, no idea the actors in it, but i think its around late 1970s-1980s, the only scene i can remember is there is a car in a wooded area or clearing and there is a woman and a man are in a car, the man falls asleep in the car and his head falls onto the steering wheel, then the girl sees about a dozen aliens appear they are human size and dressed in dark, then they surround the car and one places its hand inside the open car window and the woman places her hand in its, thats all i can remember, anyone any clues?

ok so a bit of background, i'm a bloke & my friend is a girl and she split with her boyfriend back in like june 09 and soon after i started to feel more than friend feelings for her so back in about october 09 i mentioned this to her and asked if we could ever be more than friends or date, she took a while to get back to me (i did it by text cowards option i know!) but when she did she said she thought a lot about what i said and didn't think it was a good idea as she was going travelling to australia for a year from april 2010 plus she said she still was not really over her ex, so i was happy to just remain friends above all else obviously, but come valentines day i sent her some flowers anonymously and later asked her if she got anything, think she knew it was me who sent them before i told her i'd sent them, and she was really happy said i really cheered her up, so i thought hey up might be in with a chance once she gets back.

Making a photo album for a friends birthday, and it has just got plain paper inside, i want to stick some photos in it for her, but using a method that is not permanent so she can either keep the photos or take them out and put what she wants in, there are some plastic sheet things that you can get to sort of static hold the photos on the page, can anyone tell me the proper name for them or where i can get them, many thanks

I have a few of the documentaries on vhs, however the tape is now over 20 years old and has degraded to the point of being unusable (just as i was trying to convert it to dvd copy aswell), does anyone have a copy of any of the programs still that i could have, in particular the Live Steam Sunday event featuring guests Sam Brown, jools Holland Pete Waterman etc, theres no real loss to me not having it anymore but i grew up with the tape and want it if possible, i have seen there is a full list of the all the programs that were broadcast listed on the BFI website, but do you think i would be able to get copies of them by contacting channel 4?, or do you think i would be wasting my time?, cheers for your answers

I dont think there is a way to do this with production CDs and store bought music but i thought i would ask, have tried google but it just comes up with converting vinyl to CD which is not what i want, i have a number of CDs with tracks on them that i would love have a vinyl copy of to play on my turntable and just wonder if this is possible as i know dubplates can be made but more for independant DJs who have created their own music, any thoughts?

Get great signal out in the car, but my hifi system gets very poor signal, its a Denon TU260L, i have a folded dipole aerial that is 1.5 metres in length, i have tried moving it about from room to room and changing direction, i even went up in the loft with it and all it get is a very poor flickering of Stereo reception, get decent mono sound but with very poor signal still, anyone know of a way to boost the signal, either that or i should call a man out to try and sort it, (maybe should have bit the bullet and done that in the first place)

Anytime i open a new tab or a search result opens a new window or click on a link the page is always zoomed in to 150%, its doing me head in have to resize the page all the time, is there no way to set it to a default zoom, i tried resetting all of Internet Explorer settings to default and that had no effect, IE 7 never had this problem, bloomin MS bang on about how IE8 is so good and i should upgrade now to get all the new benefits, should have learned by now lol they full of crap sometimes

If so what were your symptoms from Day 1 to getting over it, as i think i may have it, have checked the nhs guidance and have more than one of the symptoms, but just want to hear from anyone has actually had it and see if they might match, for me so far:

Monday i had a constant headache all day long, neurofen provided mild relief but not much, i found i was very dizzy when i stood up and had chills that made me pshyically shiver, i was in bed almost fully clothed with a winter tog 15 duvet with the heating blasting out and i was still feeling cold, had no appetite, the chills turned to feeling too hot at times, terrible nights sleep.

Tuesday upon waking up i felt better, but as i started to get ready for work and move around i felt the headache return, again i had a bit dizzyiness throughout the day, aswell as no appetite again untill the end of the day.

Wednesday (today), woke up with no headache or anything else, but again as i started moving around and getting sorted i was hit by headache but it was mild, but still a constant in the back of my mind (no pun intended), as i got into work i felt slightly unsettled (the feeling you get when you know something is wrong but can't quite put your finger on it), i was hot and perspiring for europe had my desk fan on for most of the day and i was still perspiring, at times i felt faint and thought i was going to pass out at one stage, dizzy and just generally not with it also had stomach ache as if i was going to be sick but i wasn't, had to leave as i was not doing my self any favours, now i am home i am still feeling unwell in my stomach even after eating something, the headache is still there, and i still a bit dizzy when first standing up and moving around, hot flushes and cold chills still

Before i phone my doctor or the NHS i wanted to hear from anyone who had actually had swine flu to see if the experiences are similar, thanks

Hi, well volunteered for the task of trying to fix my sisters laptop, it refused to boot up before, but after following the advice given in a previous question managed to get it up and running, but it is running ridulassly slow, it seems as if every time it is switched on it takes longer and longer to load up, have installed norton 360 on it and it isnt finding any viruses, but there is a lot of programs that seem to come on at startup, i wonder if it could be all of these that are causing the problem, or could it be some virus or malware that 360 cant detect?

Hi, well my sisters laptop has decided not to work so i volunteered to take a look at it, the problem it has is that it wont get past the windows loading screen.

When you hit the power key it beeps, then the fuitsu-siemens logo appears giving F2, F12 boot & BIOS options, it gets past that, then you get the windows was not properly shutdown please select a following boot option like safe mode etc etc, it gets past that then the windows loading screen appears, it even gets past that then the mouse pointer appears on a black screen, and thats it, cant click on anything as theres nothing there to click on, when i have tried running it in safe mode all that happens is it has a black screen and has safe mode written in all four corners with the OS system build and version info at the top of the screen, have tried booting from a XP disc to no effect, even tried using the recovery console but not being an expert all i was able to glean from it using CHKDSK is that there are one or more errors on the volume, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have thought about just wiping the drive and starting from scratch, but she has loads of music and photos etc that she does not want to be lost

I have to say, that i was at first a little sceptical about it from seeing some previews, it seemed to be a complete removal from all the other trek films that have been before it with more action and they really sexed it up and i wasnt sure whether that would make it enjoyable or just ruin it lol, but i have say that i was completely blown away by it, so much so that i had to go back to the cinema the next day and see it again, absolutely fantastic, a few things not quite the way i would have had them (naturally everyones a film critic) lol. But i think this new movie was the right decision and they have done the show justice, its given the franchise (that is if its successful) a jump start - hopefully leading to other movies and possibly a new tv show at some stage, so if you havent seen it, you really should, even if your not a fan you will enjoy it, and as for the films producers very well done and youve earned your pay.

As in will it make so many more people buy brand new cars from the showroom, and that the value of used cars will depreciate making them cheaper to buy and far more affordable, as not all of us can afford to buy brand new cars for 8 grand, even if given 2 grand discount - so it could be a good thing for the used car market maybe

Seen a 05 reg 1.2 corsa Breeze in a garage for £4400, since its about 4yrs old now just wondering how long the original exhaust would have lasted, as am thinking of buying it and want some ammo to use for haggling etc if it hasnt been changed already, would be hoping to get the price down to about £3000 but think a mite be setting the sights a little high like, but one never knows unitil its tried eh lol

Downloaded something from limewire, and when i clicked on preview to see how it was coming along and if it was worth having nothing happened, instead it opened an internet page which said peertracking.com in the address bar before it redirected to a swingers site?, is it a virus or am i being tracked to see what am downloading

He fought in WW1, one was received i beleive for storming a german machine gun nest and taking it out of action, but the other i do not know and my grandmother has always wanted to know, he was called John Muir, from Dreghorn, Ayrshire, Scotland, are there any places that can trace this sort of information for free?, if not are there any that are reasonably priced? thanks for all answers
