I am an adult female; fiancee of a wonderful man and human "mom" to rescued animals including dogs, cockatiels, guinea pigs, a cat and a mouse. My interests include human rights and animal welfare, rescuing pets, drawing, fantasy art, reading (fantasy that involves intelligible and personable characters, and non-fiction that leaves one thinking even after the book is finished), and some obscure music.

  • Does this program for Washington residents under 26, children of veterans, exist? Need more information.?

A friend of my fiance and I was telling my fiance abou a supposed program based in Washington state (not DC). He claims that there is a program that funds the college of a Washington resident who is under 26 years of age and has a parent who is a U.S. war veteran, apparently the program pays for college for a certain number of years and gives the student $900/month living assitance (for living expenses and college expenses). Does a program like this actually exist in Washington state? If so, can anyone provide a link that describes this program further? I can't seem to find any information outside of what I was told. I want my fiance to get involved with this because he qualifies and wants to go to college, but I'm having trouble finding out if this information is true and about the program itself.

    Thanks in advance!
