So there's this guy I met on Facebook (I know that already sounds sketchy but please bear with me)

We've known each other for about a year now, and we've gotten really close to each other, and of course, have feelings for each other. What the problem is, our age gap is, well, large, as I'm 16 and he's almost 26. Because of this, we do try to keep enough distance to not cause a really bad situation, but feel like it's inevitable (As far as someone possibly figuring out about us and throwing a lawsuit or accusations at him, even though we never did anything BAD)

I also feel as if I'm being selfish for not wanting to let him go, when he could be much happier with someone his own age, and he feels the same way about me, but I guess we're still stuck on that situation of feelings stuck in the way of thinking clearly, but would the best decision be to just move on, or should I still wait? (And no, he doesn't hit on underage girls on a normal basis, because we didn't figure out age until way later)
