Before I pay for membership I am curious as to how my User/Display name would appear in game when logged into '07/ Old School RuneScape under these circumstances.

The account was created in 2005, before E-Mails became used as Log In names, and was inactive for several years until recently, a name change was prompted due to inactivity and the display name was changed.

Now the real question.

If this account was logged into the Old School servers would the display name that all other players see be the current display name that I recently had to change to and look the same, capital letter wise OR would my display name be the same as the username that I log in with and had changed from?

Also, for logging in would my username be the same username I have always used, or would it change to my current display name?

If you are not positive or have not played these newly reincarnated servers please do not guess.
