  • Dog bit someone on bike, what could happen next?

I am in California. I was walking my dog near the beach on the pedestrian walkway (bikes are NOT allowed). This group of four bikes rode past us and almost hit my dog, so she got spooked and snapped at one of the men. She drew a little bit of blood, but it was a very small bite. The man and his friend immediately started screaming at us, threatening to put my dog down and they are going to sue me....I wanted to do the right thing and gave them my contact information (which now I'm not so sure was a good idea). I was very calm and apologetic. My dog has no history of being violent, she is a very friendly dog. She does get startled easily with bikes and skateboards....but she never reacts violently. Seeing as the guy I'm dealing with was very hostile and I'm sure would look to take action, what is the worst that could happen? Do I have a defense? They weren't supposed to be riding their bikes on the pedestrian strand. Thank you, I'm just shaken up and freaked out.

  • How do dogs act right before they die?

My 15 year old labrador dog died yesterday. I came back home from a long trip and 20 mintues after I come back I hear him howling really loud in the backyard. My sister saw him and she said he howled and stretched his body while laying on his pillow and then just died.

I have never heard of a dog howling just before death- I wouldnt think they had the energy to do it. He was just old, and did not have any disease.

Has anyone seen a dog die naturally? (Not being put down). What did they do?

And also, any experiences like the one I had where my dog kind of waited the day I came back after being away for 2 months, and then just shortly after died.

  • Weird email...paypal scam?

I just got an email from "main@paypal-online.com" saying that I paid 15 dollars to paypal on this address:www.prweall.net... (DO NOT GO THERE). I know I didn't pay anything, and I thought maybe I got my identity stolen....so I clicked on the website, and I realize it does not look like a safe website....so, what are the chances of me getting a virus or something? I didn't add any information, even though they asked for my email and password.

Does anyone know of this scam?

  • How long does it take to get stand by tickets if its for another airline other than the one you work for?

I would like to fly to paris in a few days for a wedding, and my dad who is an airline employee just issued for a stand by ticket. The problem being that it is for another airline, not his own. We usually have no problem getting them, because we do them in advance, but this was a short notice thing.

So my question is: How long does it take to get stand by tickets if its for another airline other than the one you work for?
