Just looking for some opinions. Be nice or don't respond! 10 months ago my daughter found a dog in our yard, I made her stay outside with it most of the day and only came in for the night for about three days giving the owner a chance to find the dog. We made a poster and put it on our fence, we live on a busy corner. I advertised on a local news stations classifieds website, and on craigslist. I took the dog to a local animal clinic and had it scanned for a microchip and called the local animal shelter twice in the first 7 days to see if anyone was looking for that particular breed. We have since, loved and cared for her and my 11 year old, animal loving, daughter has fallen in love. Then today, nearly 10 months later, the supposed owner came by and said that it was her dog and she wanted to take her back. She lives just down the street and her kids have known for a couple of months that their dog was at our house and they didn't tell their mom. I called our local police dept and they said that there were no laws that I have to return the dog and that this was a civil matter. The lady came back and must of gotten the same answer from the police because she said she would be filing the court papers tomorrow. So, what do you think? Only serious answers please.

My daughter reached to turn it off and it shocked her, now it won't turn on. The red light is on to show that it is plugged in and has power, but when you push the button to turn it on it does nothing.

Anyone know what to do?

I have two 14 year old Japanese boys staying at my house in Utah for 10 days. They brought gifts for everyone in my family. Toys, hair barretts, sandals, fans, juggling balls, bookmarks, Pokemon characters. We were all very pleased with our gifts, and would like to give them the same feeling with our gifts. Please only serious answers.
