  • 2 questions bout hard courts?

    1. how hard are hard courts? i mean do they have any softness or they 100% hard. for example if u kick on it or if u smash your racket very hard in the court will it leave any mark or it is 100% hard like asphalt or concrete road?

    2. are the hard courts painted? I mean the ones in the big tournaments like auusie and us open(plexicushion and decoturf) or they arenatural? cause like 99% of the hard courrts are green or\and blue so i thought mayB its the colors of the materials it made of

  • Is Aussie Open still considered less important than the other 3?

Everybody know that before years it was considered too be less prestigous and alot of top players skipped it. But now all the top players come and has some epic finals from last years (2009,2012) and players seem to want it just as every grand slam. what your thoughts and what do u think the players think?

  • which hard court is softer? decoturf or plexicushion?

    Title

yes they both hard courts but hard courts are not 100% hardness like road or pavement I mean if the players push with his legs hard there will be real mark in the court(not like a dust mark or something like that) or if the player breaks his racket as well. so I wanna know if u guys can tell me what hard court is softer and better for the knees of the players

  • Would u prefer no hard courts tennis?

I mean like 2 grass majors and 2 clay majors?

I realy dont see why so many tournaments move to hard courts.

They realy bad for the knees, they look too industrial(not like the natural clay and grass) and the level game not better out there. Grass and clay are the 2 game original surfaces.

  • Do u think its not OK that wimbledon its the only slam to be played on grass?

I mean grass its the games origin surface and its not fair that only 1 grand slam is played on grass.

The point is that back then all the slams(except RG) were played on grass. Maybe Wimbledon was still the most prestigious tournament but when all the big events were played on grass so the value of all slams was equal. Now wimbledon is by far the most prestigious tournament and i think its not OK that players have just two weaks in a year to play a Major event on the games origin surface so it make it very hard to grab a grass major. What your thoughts?

  • Do ball make mark on the australian open surface?

I mean like on clay courts the surface is flexible and its not 100% hard so the ball make mark on the surface. I think from what i see in TV that its the same thing in the Aussie open surface but I dont sure.

  • Why people missing the serve and volley days?

I always hear people missing the old serve and volley days and i wonder why.

Serve and volley is the worst thing in tennis and nothing good about it.

First it doesn't interesting and its really boring. I don't get why people think its beautiful.

Theres no technique in this kind of play and this strategy is only work when the serve "burns" the oponent and he makes poor return. So whats the point in wanting players to have poor return?

serve and volley is pure bet whether or not the return will be good because if the return good it will be a passing shot and the server will lose the point. volley should be done only after seeing that the return is short and when a player comes to the net it should be only if he 100% sure he could do winner and finish the point right there.

  • Why is US Open court have 2 colors?

I mean its a hard-court, but the inner part is blue and the outer is green. so the managers of US Open color the inner\outer part of the surface? Or the inner part made from other materials than the outer part? And is the surface is colored with Acrylic or some color or its the natural color of the materials it made from?
