  • Messed up love triangle - Help?

I need help. I'm in a huge relationship mess and I just don't know what to do. I can't really talk to anyone I know about this, so I was hoping I could open up and get some advice here.  Honestly, I just need to vent.  You should know, this is a long one.

I'm a 17 year old junior, who's involved in a long term, long distance relationship with a girl who is probably the love of my life. I also have an amazing best friend (let's call her Girl B) who is also one of my girlfriend's closest friends.

I have been with my girlfriend for 2 years, half of it long distance after I moved away (I fly home and see her pretty often).  Before we started dating, she was my best friend. I have never felt scared to discuss a future with her, I love her a lot, and she could be the one for me.

Girl B and I have been friends for as long as I've known my girlfriend. I met them both at the same time, and I became good friends with both. I have known for a long time that Girl B had feelings for me. However, for as long as I've known her I've been with another girl, usually one of her closest friends.

Before I go any further with my current situation, I should back up a bit.  Lately, I've been feeling stronger urges to cheat on my girlfriend. I live 2000 miles away, and it's hard to resist the urges. I feel terrible about this, but I don't know how much longer the long distance relationship can work.  She is willing to wait for me, but I can't be sure I'm willing to wait. I love her so much, and I just feel like I shouldn't lead her on if this relationship isn't going to work. On the other side, I feel like if I break up with her I could eventually consider it the worst mistake of my life.

Anyways, I'm currently visiting my old home (where she and Girl B live) during Christmas break. I have known for a long time Girl B has feelings for me, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't have some feelings back. I do love her, and she's extremely beautiful.  I would totally date her, IF I WASN'T DATING HER BEST FRIEND.

The problem is, and I'll sound like a jerk for admitting this, but I lead her on. It's always playful, usually teasing her about how she's in love with me and other things. She never really denies it. In a way, it's a bit pathetic. She hasn't had a good relationship since she's met me, and she's still a virgin (out of choice, she claims she hasn't found the right guy). When I ask if I'm that guy (playfully), she doesn't deny it.

She knows I want her too. The thing is, I don't need to be with her, and it seems she needs to be with me, and it's killing her that she can't have me. Recently, I was watching a movie with her and her boyfriend (and a couple other friends). Now, I'm not going to lie, I can be a real ***hole sometimes, especially to guys. During the movie, I was sitting next to her. About halfway through, I started touching her (playfully, not really sexually). I was touching her hair and stuff like that. Her boyfriend was getting P-ed off, but he didn't do anything, and she didn't even seem to notice at all. I knew he was getting mad, and I loved it. I decided to take it to the next level, so I started rubbing and massaging her thigh. By now, he was fuming, but he said nothing. he made a BS excuse and stormed out the house. Me and my friends died laughing, and Girl B didn't even care: she expects that from me.

Anyways, a couple days later (yesterday night) me and Girl B got into a huge fight. It started off playfully: her calling me an ***hole for doing that to her boyfriend. I can't describe the texts that followed, so I'll just post them up here.

ME: umm...no. Just a guy who wanted to see if this guy was good enough to date my best friend in the whole wide world. He failed miserably.

    *

HER: would anyone pass ur test?!?!?

    ME: probably not.

    *

    *

ME: Go ahead, I'm not even there :P

    *

HER: so that gives u the right to ignore me???

    *

ME: No...the fact that I don't want to answer that question gives me the right to ignore you haha

    *

HER: so ur just gonna blow that question off then???

    *Later*

    HER: HELLO??? ***HOLE!!!

    *Later*

HER: went to ur house. Ur dad doesn't kno where u are? WTF?!?!?

    *

ME: flew back to XXX to get away from your questions. (joking)

    *

HER: whatever XXX. do whatever u want. I don't even care anymore. Just leave me the **** alone. I'm tired of playing these games.

ME: I have a girlfriend.  She'

  • If the Phillies had kept Cliff Lee?

And still dealt for Oswalt at the deadline, how many games would they have won in 2010 with a starting rotation of Halladay/Lee/Oswalt/Hamels/Moyer?

    I'd say 106.

  • If Derek Jeter signed with the Red Sox...?

I know it would never happen, and I know Scutaro had a better season this year, but...

If the Yankees decided that Eduardo Nunez was the superstar of the future and said they had no interest in resigning Jeter, and the only team to offer Jeter a good deal was the Red Sox, would Red Sox fans cheer for him come Opening Day?

By the same token, would Yankee fans cheer him?

  • Starting school late?

Hey everyone, I have a question.

My son has just relocated from Massachusetts to Florida. School in Massachusetts doesn't begin for him until Monday of next week, but down here school started on August 15th.

What is the procedure to deal with this? Will this cause complications because my son missed several weeks of school?

I tried to call the school, but they're closed, so, I'm coming here.

  • Is this player a Hall of Famer?

This is not a real player, I have a baseball simulation game and I was wondering whether you believe this person qualifies for the Hall of Fame. In reality, he was a starting second basemen for 8 years with the Pittsburgh Pirates of the 1940s. In my game, he was the starting second basemen of the Los Angeles Pirates (I moved the team there in 1943) dynasty from 1945 to 1956.

Keep in mind this is the 1940s, so home runs are not a major qualifying factor for the Hall of Fame. Also keep in mind that voting in the 1940s was much more lenient than today.

    Here are his career stats:

    1547 games played

    664 runs

    1662 hits

    294 doubles

    42 triples

    21 home runs

    797 RBI

    471 BB

    414 K

    44 SB

    .297 BA

    .351 OBP

.250 career World Series batting average

    1945 Rookie of the Year

National League All Star in 1946 and 1947

    6 time World Series Champion

He began his career late, at age 25. Injuries ended his career when he was just 36 years old.

So, what do you think? Is he a Hall of Famer?

By the way, the game is Baseball Mogul...I strongly recommend it to anyone who loves baseball.

  • Right testicle pain...?

I asked this question a few days ago, but I figured I ask again.

On Saturday (4 days, going on 5) morning, I woke up with some mild pain in my right testicle. It wasn't serious, it mostly hurt when pressure was applied. For obvious reasons, I was worried about testicular torsion, but seeing as the pain wasn't major, I didn't bother telling anyone or going to the doctor.

It has continued for the past few days. While the pain is duller now, it seems to be moving to my legs and creates a general discomfort at pretty much all times. I have no swelling, no discoloration, no intense pain, no nausea or fever, but the affected testicle hangs slightly higher than than other (not sure whether it has always been like that).

To be a little more specific, the pain seems to be coming from the point where the epididymis connects to the testicle. At least, that's what I think what I'm feeling is; it's a small lump on my testicle that I believe connects to the epididymis (It's not cancer, I have these "lumps" on both testicles).

There was no reason for the pain, it's unexplained; it just happened when I woke up.

I would really appreciate some help on this, thanks.

  • Strange testicle pain?

I have since yesterday morning had some (very) mild pain in my right testicle. It started when I woke up, and it's mostly stayed the same.

I can't feel it if I'm not touching or applying pressure to it. It's a similar pain to what you feel after being kicked there several hours afterward.

I'm not sure what it is, seeing as I only felt it once I woke up (I didn't wake up during the night with pain).

I don't think it's testicular torsion or verciolla (sp?), seeing as it's not swollen...Help, please!? I'm pretty sure it's nothing, but guys tend to take this stuff very seriously...

  • After reserving an iPad...?

This question is for those who have an iPad.

As you may know, there is a waiting list to get them at most stores. When the store gets your iPad, it sends you an e-mail.

I hate to be impatient, but it's been two weeks since I reserved and I haven't received an email besides the one that confirmed I wanted to reserve the iPad.

So, for those who were on the waiting list, how long did it take for your iPad to come in?

  • Would North Vietnam have won the Vietnam War without...?

the support of the Soviet Union, China, and North Korea?

For example...say that the Chinese Civil War went for the Republic of China (capitalists), and North Korea was defeated in the Korean War.

Would North Vietnam still have been able to win if China and Korea were both working with the United States and South Vietnam?

Say someone very wealthy was shot in the early 1900s in the liver, a critical wound. Would that injury have been survivable?

I'm writing a story, but I need some research. I can't find that much info, but what would the chances of survival have been?

Long question, I know...However, I think I pretty much covered it.

Do you think that if a war between Iran and Israel escalated and Israel bombed Iran (nuclear strikes exchanged by both sides), with the US with Israel, China or Russia would step in for Iran?

  • What if a Presidential Election is Tied?

Not the electoral vote. Rather, what if say...One candidate has 252 electoral votes and the other has 266. The election comes down to...say Ohio, and it turns out that the votes are even there. Do they just disregard Ohio?
