  • Do you think LSU will beat South Carolina?

Its true that LSU will struggle to pass, especially with Clowney rushing of the edge, but can LSU's defense create enough opportunities for them to pull of the upset. Honestly this game will be fun to watch if you like D-lines, its true Clowney is the number one DE, but Montgomery and Mingo are easily second and third not to mention Minter is playing out of his mind lately...

I think it goes down to the wire and LSU wins off of something shocking like a fake field goal or unexpected onside kick recover (and a subsequent score)

    QB- Tim Tebow, Florida

    HB- Reggie Bush, USC

    HB- Ladanian Tomlinson, TCU

    FB- Peyton Hillis, Arkansas

    WR- Larry Fitzgerald, Pitt

    WR- Calvin Johnson, GT

    S- Taylor Mays, USC

    AP- Percy Harvin, Florida

    K- Mike Nugent, Ohio State

    P- Kevin Huber Cincinatti

HM- Vince Young (Texas), it was close between him and Tebow

    - Adrian Peterson (Oklahoma), injuries put LT ahead

    - Braylon Edwards (Michigan), dissapointing finale season

    - Sean Taylor (Miami, FL), just couldnt find it in me to put two Miami safties on the list ecspecially with a two time All American in Taylor Mays

    - Dwight Freeney (Syaracuse), shadowed by low competition and Julius Peppers

    - Olin Kreutz (Washington), one break out season put him in the lime light, but it is arguable that the Nebraska O-line led by Raiola was the primary reason for Crouche's success (and the entire Nebraska Running game for that matter)

    - Brandon Spikes (Florida), decent senior season, but a little unsportsman like

  • What are the advantages and disadvantages or using a weapon that has a "bullpup" firing system?

Why do so many european gun makers love it and why do some like H&K not like it, and is there any reason the US doesntutilize this system on a mass scale?

  • Your thoughts on USC's BCS standing?

Ok so everyone knows the BCS has issues, but this year seems a little stupid with USC surviving a 2 loss season and still being in position for a BCS bowl. I have them ranked at 19, yep and heres my logic... They lost to an unranked team who was 1-13 over the last two seasons at the point they met, yet they fell as if they had lost to a top three team, next LSU falls in a seriously close game with the #1 Gators and falls BEHIND USC, a third grader could tell you that makes no sense. Next they lose in very convincing fashion to Oregon and only fall to 12... so they have been upset by a team who was winless a season ago, and then blown and still maintain at large status? So where do you put the Trojans?

BQ: D0es this season call to question the title of team of the decade for USC? after all, it was awarded simply for their dominance in the PAC10 and over the Big10, this season seems to hurt their chances. I personally think this opens many doors for LSU to start arguing that they deserve it, they have 2 actual BCS championships compared to USC's 1, and are 4-0 in BCS games with wins over Notre Dame, OU, OSU and Illinois, The only way I think my Gators are eligible is with a third title considering their absense in the early parts of the decade, but if they got the 3 championships i think they would be a unanimous choice but im not counting my chickens before they hatch.

  • In what countries are Americans seen as exotic?

Here in the states we have a few positive steroypes about visiters from other countries, some people think certain accents are interesting or attractive, and some find physical features common to some areas very interesting or attractive. There is even the idea that the fact that they are from the country they say they are from makes them so much more exotic. Are there any countries that view Americans in any such way? DO the Austrailians find our accent as awesome as we do theres (rhetorical in nature, just an example of what im looking for). Lets try to be curtious in our answers please

  • New to Rugby and need help with proper conditioning?

Ok so ive been playing for about 2 months now and i have already been named a starter (i switch beween outside center and wing). I really want to get good at both (so i want to be versatile i guess). Any advice on how to condition for these two positions? Some tips for agility, power (while carrying the ball) and explosiveness would be great. Any drills on improving passing would be good too (still kind of a shaky passer). Thank you ahead of time.

  • Getting a New Pet, need advice, Sugar Glider or Hedgehog?

So im living in a dorm next year that is apartment style, 4 of us live in the dorm but we all have our own rooms and a common bathroom and a common living area, so i decided that i would like a pet this year to live with me in the dorm, and more specifically in my room. Since pets are not technically allowed i decied to get a small pet that doesnt need to go outside to use the bathroom and etc, and ive narrowed it down to a hedgehog and a sugar glider and i need advice from experienced owners. In your answer please remember that i will bw able to provide adequate space for the animals, ive already evaluated the dorm and the space issue, and it isnt an issue. I basically need to know the following

Hedgehogs- How is bonding with them? How serious is the hibernation issue? How sociable can they be, will they nap on your lap while watching t.v. for example? Is their life span really only4-5 years?

Suger Gliders- I know thier noisier than hedgies, but is it noisey enough to be a real bother to my roomates? I've heard it is not wise to only get one suger glider as it can depress them (unlike hedgies who are rumored to be perfectly fine as solitary animals) and lead to a premature and unexpected death, is this true?

    Thank you for your answers

  • Best player argument continues?

Now i chose to post this argument because no one has really noticed this i feel, Is Kobe Bryant the best player playing, or is it Tim Duncan? Before you flip out (laker fans) check out the stats...

    MVPs Kobe-1 Duncan-2

    NBA Titles Kobe-4/6 Duncan-4/4

NBA Finals MVP Kobe-1/6 Duncan 3/4

    NBA All Star Kobe-11 Duncan-11

    All-NBA Team Kobe-11 Duncan-12

    All Def Team Kobe-8 Duncan-12

Seasons Avg Double Double Kobe-0 Duncan-12

    ROTY Kobe-no Duncan-yes

    Gld Medals Kobe-1 Duncan-1

    Olympic Teams Kobe-1 Duncan-2

Now im not going to argue that one is better than the other simply because they play entirely different positions, but it seems that there is debate as to who can be considered the best when you start throwing stats around right? So does this make you think a little? AND if we can easily compare these stats, how can we compare Kobe to Jordan if he cant overcome Duncan in stats? Answers please...

  • Tim Tebow, best college fb player ever?

Ok, i am a gators fan and personally i think Tebow will go down as the greatest player in cfb history after this season (upon winning at least an SEC championship, i think that a national title would help make a stronger case though) but i want to know what everyone else thinks and if they disagree who infact would still be greater. When answering please dont just give me the Barry Sanders argument he had one amazing non championship season so when you answer please consider awards, records, efficency, stats, championships and leadership. Pro stats and figures also do not matter. So what do you guys think?
