  • I filed my taxes on Jan. 18th and IRS has no info but liberty taxes say IRS accepted them. What do I do?

    I filed my Taxes through liberty tax prep on Jan. 18th 2013. I started checking the IRS where's my refund page on jan 30th and keep getting the msg to please confirm my information, then when I confirm it it tells me

    We cannot provide any information about your refund. You must wait at least 24 hours after you get the acknowledgement e-mail that your tax return was received by the IRS

    WTF??? This also happens when I call the IRS 1800 number.

    I called Liberty and the tax prep who answered told me that my return HAS been accepted.

    So can anyone help me? because I'm afraid Liberty messed up again. In 2012 Liberty screwed up my amended return last year and it took me 2 months to find out the IRS hadn't received it and another 4 months to get it fixed and mailed to me.
