I will start this off:

I have 4 accounts. They are all active. Until recently 2 of them were completely secret. Now only 1 of them is. I use the still secret one to ask mundane questions. I use a male avatar for that secret account. It is not hooked up to any of my contacts. I don't know why, I just like having a secret one. I am the same personality with it but just a little more serious.

I really am interested to hear about how many other people are doing this and why.
