Information about a shipwreck: initials .A.S.C.?
I have been given by my late uncle a soupterine that has the initials .A.S.C. on the lid and on the terine (coulour of the soupterine is white and the letters and a stripe are green). From what I was told the dish was a salvage from a shipwreck. Does anyone know anything that will help me find where it's from?
*From what I have found online so far... I think .A.S.C. is the American Steamship Company.
*Under the dish there are letters that are hard to read something like "FREGOUTcCT" and "AASTRICHT" and "PORSELEI" and "MADE IN HOLLAND"
*We live in Montréal, so I think it might be a wreck from the Great Lakes.
