This is my first Yahoo question, so be gentle. ;)

I'm looking to change up my hair, make it a lot more edgy/funky. No, I'm not a 'real' punk, but I'm not trying to be punk. I'm a video game designer and my look is too sweet currently -- I keep getting mistaken for someone's girlfriend, and my hair totally doesn’t fit my personality.

Right now I have a graduated bob, jaw length, lots of layers, with my natural dark blonde color. I usually flip/spike it out a bit in back, but it's looking a little too 'Sweet Home Alabama', rather than 'I make games that pwn your face.' I have light eyes and slightly olive, moderately pale skin, and I don’t wear much makeup.

I'm thinking about going bleach blonde, but I'm open to color suggestions. No dark colors though, I look washed out. I'd be willing to cut more or change the style, and I want to learn how to spike it in a non-sweety-girl way. I just want a funky/edgy style that doesn’t take too much upkeep.

So, suggestions?
