I am an african american female and I am going natural. My hair is cut really low and I have no chemically relaxed hair left. My hair has mostly tightly coiled curls...like springs. What types of product should I use to keep my hair moisturized and healthy?

I have cut all of my permed hair off...I actually have a low fade...I wash my hair with conditioner everynight. Am I washing my hair too many time?

I live in a small town that has no promise to a person my age. It's not a place that you would want to raise your kids either. There's nothing to do here, but get into trouble. No man has the right to hit a woman, and no woman has the right to hit a man....but we are all human and we all tend to do the wrong thing sometimes. The truth be told he has damage d his career for the most part, but based on his talent level I think he will be able to overcome his mistakes. His new song and video crawl is extremely good. I believe that with the right song, the right video, and the right performance people will start to forgive him and focus more on his talent and less on what he has done...what do you think?

I heard a comment on the radio that made absolutely no sense to me:

"It sounds like he is trying to tell our kids what to do and I don't like that...."

When I finally got a chance to listen to the speech I really enjoyed it. It was refreshing and very inspiring. It even gave me a boost. I believe in wanting to give my best in everything I that I do, even if it is not something that I am interested in (like my job right now..lol). I think that it was a good decision to address the youth, because they are our future. It doesn't sound like he's forcing anyone's child to do anything. It sounds more like he is encouraging parents and children to take their learning experience to a higher level. Education is the best gift that you could ever receive. I saw nothing wrong with the speech.

I work in a small accounting department that consist of 6 people at a small credit union. I have been working there for 1 year and 6 months. My boss (which is a lady) has done a lot for me in my times of need including hiring and promoting me to my current position as accounting clerk. When I was promoted my old position was given to a part time teller who I have grown very close with as a friend.

In June, the Jr Accountant quit and my boss had to hire some one new. The person she hired seemed cool for the first couple of months, but lately she has been stirring up problems for my friend that seems to be putting me in the middle.

My boss has always been someone I looked up to for many reasons, but lately she has not been a good role model for me.

Last week she asked me if I smelled my friend because she smelled like fish...I told her I didn't seem anything and that maybe she may have smell her trash...she said no it wasn't trash and that it was my friend. Then this week she asked me my opinion on my friend's work ethic because she has been making a lot of mistakes.....I told her that maybe she was making mistakes because she wasn't focused due to some personal issues that she was having....I also told her that she needed to talk to my friend and let her know what she expects out of her and give her a little enthusiasm to get back on track.

Well yesterday I believe that my boss told her what I said...because all day my friend kept saying that she needed to be focusd and was sending it in my direction to say that she knew that it was me who told that she wasn't focused from tthe jump. I feel so terrible and I really want to call her and tell her that I was called into my bosses office who initiated the conversation. I feel like I am being pulled in two different places and I feel so uncomfortable. I want to tell her so bad and apologize for not talking to her about the things that had been going on behind her back. I want to call her right now and tell her, but I am afraid that it will make my work environment worse than what it is.

I feel like I need to tell my boss from now on I would rather not be in the middle of anything else because I don't feel comfortable in that postion.. then I feel that I should just ignore it and go to work everyday seperating my self from everything and everybody, but my work? What should I do? I don''t like being in the middle like this. I don't wan to hurt my friend and I don't want to feel like I owe my boss something because of what she has done for me.
