What rights do kids have when parents are separated in Minnesota?
My wife and I have been separated for several years and my daughter does not like the person I have been living with. My ex wife says my 15 yr old daughter is at the age of consent where she herself can decide if she comes to my house or not. We have no court documents dictating any visitation schedule. Do I not have just as much of a say in where my daughter spends her time as my ex wife does? I have not seen anything about age of consent other than if a child wants to file to be emancipated from their parents, and that is a different issue altogether, having nothing to do with a separation or divorce of the parents and visitation. Other than this issue, there is little that my wife and I are at odds about, but it really bothers me. I wish in this case that we did have a visitation schedule so that my wife would not think she can manipulate my daughter into thinking she has more control than she ought. What are the laws surrounding this and what should I do?

2 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoJealous roommate woes. Help!
I was getting to know someone off of Yahoo Answers and my roommate was getting really jealous- we are ex's. He knows that we are only friends and roommates but he prevents me from making new friends. I had a great new buddy I was chatting with and I think my roommate scared him away which makes me really sad. Now I have no way to communicate with the new friend who changed his email address again. My roommate gets jealous and somehow disupts the process of making a new friend and then when the friend is no longer around he apologizes and goes back to his "normal" self. I know I should just tell him to move on but he usually needs a lot of help with transportation and a place to live. How can I get him to stop this so I can have a normal group of friends like others do?
