I'm looking to put my money in something safer than the Dollar for the next few years. But I hope to begin cashing it out in a couple years as I'm moving to pursue my Master's Degree and so won't be able to work... thus I want something to keep my money 'safe' and be ready to cash out when I need to pay rent.

With that, what is a better, safer investment? Numismatic Gold (looking at a graded 1866 Double Eagle) or Bullion gold (looking at a 1 oz Gold Eagle).

Anyone know? Curveball, slider, fastball? Has anyone ever been taken out of the game by a curveball?

First they canceled '"Defying Gravity" and now "Flash Forward." After never - NEVER - continuously watching any TV shows other than sports, my wife and I finally found a show to sit down together and watch and look forward to every week. First they canceled "Defying Gravity," and though severely bummed (it was a GREAT show), we found another to watch - "Flash Forward." And now I've learned they canceled THAT as well! Who makes these decisions at ABC so I can write to them with my disgust and tell them that I won't be watching ANY of their new shows... I don't want to get back into one and have it canceled - again.

I'm adding 3-4 feet (15 ft long) to the side of my driveway to widen it. I will be parking my Dodge Durango's passenger side tires on it while the rest rests on the old driveway. I'm worried that being so skinny, this little section will shift or crack under the weight. Would it help if I go 6" down instead of 4"? Would it matter at all? Any suggestions on other aspects that might help me?

And approximately how many yards of concrete would this be?

Always wanted to try it - so I bought some on eBay a few minutes ago. So when it gets here... how do you recommend I try it? On a cracker? Cheese? Sandwich? If on a sandwich, what with and what kind of bread?

A friend of mine mentioned this book, but I think he got the title wrong b/c I can't find it anywhere. Evidently, it (or part of it) outlines Tamerlane's theory of the benefits/gifts of each of the races. I have been very interested in that for some time - but can't find the book! Any help would be... well.... helpful!

If the genealogies were destroyed at or around 70 AD, how can we know that the current people occupying Israel are indeed Jews? Is there any way (evidencially or logically) to prove they are indeed Jews? Or must we simply believe that each family maintained their identity and heritage through 1900 years?

BTW, there is no agenda here, though this may sound like I'm trying to disprove their claim. I AM NOT. I believe they are Jews... but I need good reason to believe so. TY.

I left the key for my son's CRF50 in Colorado - and I'm all the way in TX. So I pulled the ignition plugs, but it was hard to start - it usually starts on the first kick. So I didn't know if pulling those plugs affected the performance or if it's the elevation or what. Any ideas?

How well do they cover the kick returner? What's the return average agains them? Does their kicker tend to keep returners from returning the ball by putting it deep in the end zone?

I expect Tennesses to score a LOT against the Browns... but will Cribbs get to return many kicks? Does Tennessee tend to keep kick returners from returning by putting the ball deep in the end zone?
