How do I find my wifes biological father who served in the Navy in 1960?
My wifes mother dated a guy that was stationed in Everett wa around late june early august of 1960, her mother got pregnant and the sailor sailed away....her mother has passed on a few years ago, during my wifes life she would ask her mother about her father, but she couldn't even remember his name...I want to find out if its at all possible to find out what ships were stationed in Everett during this time frame and maybe if there are photos somewhere...because a photo is the only way to remotely have any luck with this and if anyone knows if there is a DNA database connected somehow, but did we even know about DNA back then? My wife has tried to find him at one point in the 90s, but since the length of time and lack of information she didn't have enough information.....and don't say call Maury Povich...any help, links or ideas would be welcomed and appreciated...smiley face
4 AnswersGenealogy7 years agoA 15 amp electrical question?
I bought a welder, it keeps tripping my 15 amp breaker (which is 50 feet away) after about 20 seconds of running, my buddy told me that I could take 2 extension cords splice them together and plug them into different outlets that are not on the same breaker, I assume that would give me 240 volts or 30 amps if attached to 2 15 amp breakers...
