  • alternator or battery?

I bought a 2000 chrysler sebring around xmas and it's been sitting in the garage until I can get it registered. I've started the car twice since then for about 2 minutes each time. When I tried to start it recently, it wouldn't start, no sound or anything. I attempted to jump it but it wouldn't start so I left the battery charging for 20 minutes and it started. I drove the car around the block (for about 3 minutes because it has no plates) I turned the car off and tried to start it in the morning and it was dead.

I am wondering if I should take it to the shop or just replace the battery. If we can narrow it down to at least 60% probably the battery, I'd be content to replace it.

  • Are these early signs of autism?

My 13 month old son is showing some of the familiar signs of autism, but only a couple. I can't really tell if he is independent, not getting enough social practice or developing signs of autism.

He doesn't hold eye contact long and often doesn't want to have anything to do with his parents, but when out in the world, he seems interested in the other people.

He plays fine with his toys and doesn't seem to favor anything specifically.

He doesn't make gestures, but then again, we haven't really used gestures around him so I don't think hes learned. He doesn't make any signs as to what he wants though when he does want things.

He has been smiling and babbling since a a young age and his motor skills are up to par. He's been walking on his own for a few months now.

He also doesn't really like to cuddle, but it's almost as if he has some place else to be or explore. He often throws tantrums and throws himself on the floor repeatably.

Every now and then he will do a call and response kind of thing where we mimic his words but to be honest, we haven't done that very often with him not nearly as much as we should

The most worrisome thing to me is that he rarely responds to his name but I have a suspicion he just doesn't care. Is that a possibility?

We've already made a doctors appointment, but I'm just looking for some parents views on this to get myself better prepared. Thanks!

  • What do I need to become a British Citizen?

I was born in the United Kingdom to a British father and American mother. They divorced when I was 4 and moved to the US with my mum. Obviously, I know I am entitled to citizenship based on birth and descendent rights but have no idea what I must do to claim this. I used to have a British passport, but I have literally nothing except my birth certificate now and a US passport.

I ask because I want to move back to the U.K. and am not sure what it would require to be considered a citizen.

  • Thinking about joining the air force?

I'm thinking about taking a large step for my family and country and enlisting in the Air Force. I was always a military brat growing up and spent a great deal of time overseas with my mum.

    My question is this;

Is it more competitive trying to get an overseas PCS than stateside? Also, can you PCS overseas strait out of tech school?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Question about abnormal skipped beats?

Over the past 6 months, I've become increasingly aware of a symptom that is best summed up by what I found online.

"early beat followed by a pause (rest), then a heavy beat."

I'm only ever aware of this at night when I am laying down with pressure against my chest. I do have a history of anxiety, but no other health problems. I'm a 21 year old male. When my heartbeat is rapid (after exercise/activity) I don't have this symptom.

  • How much would a Ford 2007 Ranger sell for?

    50,000 miles.

Wrecked it in 2009 and the passenger side has cosmetic damage. The passenger door is jammed shut and the hood won't lift (Haven't tried because I feared it would detach and not go back on)

Everything else damaged in the wreck that was mechanical was replaced. Works perfect and has never had any issues.

I'm just searching for a rough estimate. I know it's hard to guess the price accurately.

  • Roughly how much have countries donated to the Haiti disaster?

I'm mostly curious if there is a list of top donations by countries. My curiousity was sparked because I am in New Zealand, and their government only donated 1 million dollars while the National Football League (NFL) donated 2.5 million.

  • How easy is it to rent an apartment? What should we expect?

My girlfriend and I have decided that it is time to go out in the world on our own. We are living in south carolina, and both plan on working. I also will be attending full time college (which I have a full scholarship for)

What should we expect? Will it be easy to be financially stable, because we are pretty much just starting from scratch. Any input or advice would be great!
