I've always wondered, a lot of people, and quite a few on R&P, say they hate or love certain bands, but usually without reason, other than they hate or love them. My question is, in essence, how long do you listen to a band before you actually declare your love or hatred of them? For example, would you say you hated Pink Floyd because you didn't like "Comfortably Numb?" Or would you listen to a few albums before making a decision? What influences your decision?

BQ: Favorite guilty-pleasure album?

Trent Reznor just released a new single "A Drowning" with his wife Mariqueen under the moniker 'How to Destroy Angels' and I was wondering what you NIN fans think of it. I've been into it for a bit, Mariqueen's voice seemed a bit out of place at first, but overall its pretty effective. And I love the trademark NIN building crescendos starting at 2:00 and at 3:15, its the little things like that that make the biggest impressions for me. Thoughts?

I know the video is cool and everything, but am I the only one who find's 'Born Free' by M.I.A. 100% uninspired. Like 'Under Pressure' to 'Ice Ice Baby' uninspired. It's just 'Ghost Rider' with her singing. It seriously bothers me for some reason, and I used to dig M.I.A., especially the last album. I'm probably just being a prude, but whatever I guess.
