How do you run network wires through a two-story concrete slab floor?
I'm doing the network wiring for a 9,000 sq. foot, two-story office building. We've got about 150 Cat 6 cables to run from the second-floor network/server room down into the plenum airspace on the first floor, where they'll then be pulled to all the 1st floor cubicles. The construction of the building and floors is solid concrete. To facilitate running the cables we had our plumber drill two roughly 6" diameter holes through the concrete floor, so we can drop the cables straight down. Now we're looking for some kind of way to sleeve these holes; can't use PVC pipe because of fire code, but am not having any luck finding a clean, neat solution that meets code and will keep the wires organized. Google is failing me today, but surely I can't be the first person who's encountered this situation, right?? Any tips or links to products would be great, thanks!
2 AnswersComputer Networking9 years agoWhat is a good camcorder to record avi format video?
Hi,
Wow, I feel stupid having to post this here, but google isn't my friend today, and manufacturer's and retailers sites seem to not post very good stats.
Anyhow, I'm looking for a good video camera that records avi format video, for easy import & editing on a PC, preferably one that also records directly to an internal hard drive for long recording times.
What I'm *not* looking for is a video camera like those crappy JVC Everio models, with their god-forsaken .mod format. Also what I'm not looking for is a point & shoot camera that records avi. I know many of them can do it, heck - my Fuji S6000fd can record a damn good quality 640x480x30 frames a second, 30 minutes worth on a 2 GB card, but I need something a little higher quality, with more zoom, and stereo sound, if possible.
Any suggestions? Please provide a link, if possible.
Thx!
2 AnswersCamcorders1 decade agoHow do you do basic math formulas in Crystal Reports? Argh!?
I have a basic Crystal Reports report that has two columns of numbers in it. One for Gross Sales, one for Tax Amount. I want to have a third column that shows Gross Sales minus Tax Amount. I know I need a formula for this, but can't figure out how to make even this simple formula work. I've spent hours on this. Help!
