I can't understand why is it when the UK gets snow, the whole country is at a stand still? Every year the UK is short in grit that the council uses to dump on our roads to melt the ice. All airports are closed, trains cancelled, schools closed everything is chaos! All other countries such as America, France, Germany and all the other european countries have massive snow ploughs and much better equipment to deal with this problem and nothing much gets to a stand still. I know some countries get snow more than we do or more of it, so is it now time the UK got some better equipment to keep the country moving rather than standing still? Our snow ploughs here need to be replaced with much newer once and bigger like the US and many other countries have got.

I've been having cystitis for the last 10 years! Every time it happens it's very painful and there is blood and bits coming out! I used to drink packs of cranberry juice which helps but I also drink pint after pint of water to flush it out. It's being very annoying and very embarrassing to explain to work why you need to take time off sick! No matter what you say to people at work it never seems like a good enough excuse to take time off! It's getting to a stage now that I want to get rid of the virus for good but is there anything I can do to get rid of it for good? I know it's very rare for a man to have this problem so how did I get it? I had an operation when I was 10 years old because my bladder was blocked! It almost killed me as I was minutes away from my bladder bursting! Could this be the course of my problem?

I own a Honda Civic 1.7 CTDI which does 400 miles on one tank. The thing what I can't understand is why people say if you do lots of miles diesel is better than petrol? Surely diesel is better no matter what annual mileage you do? I don't get more than 400 miles driving on motorways than I do driving Urban so why say unleaded is better? The amount of money you safe driving a diesel can be huge. Also with the current situation with petrol prices going more up than down it's every reason to aim for diesel. Last time I heard petrol might increase to £1.50 to the litre! when will it stop rising. Any views on this and please could someone explain why diesel is only better if you do long mileage?

I might be wrong on this but i've just done a fuel calculation on a annual fuel calculator website to see how much the Honda Civic Type-R would cost me. The figures I got were shocking to say the least! I do about 800 miles a month and according to the calculations i'd be putting on average about £200 a month in the car or £2400 or so a year! That means if I keep the car for 5 years it would cost me about 12.5K on petrol!!! If you then add the bills on top and the £245 per year road tax it would cost me £20,000!!!!! I know I sound i'm going on a bit but surely that can't be right? can it? With the majority of people who drive these cars are under 30 so how on earth can they afford it? I'm 36 and find the numbers shocking! Please tell me i'm wrong if not i'll be going for the Skoda Octavia Vrs TDI 170 which has a fuel range on one tank good for 500 to 600 miles for under a grand a year.

I would like to buy a Honda Civic Type-R soon, the EP3 version. However i've noticed that Jackson Racing do a supercharger for a Honda Civic which has made me think, maybe I should buy a Type-R with it already fitted. The only problem is where on earth would someone sell such car? I could buy a standard version but to install the supercharger it would cost me 3k!!!! Does anyone know where I could buy a supercharged one from? or would I have to do it myself?

The other thing is would the car not lose a lot of that power as it's front wheel drive? such as wheel spinning? Any help from people in the UK would be very good.

I've asked similar questions like this before but would like to ask this one question. I was going to buy a Honda Civic Type-R but with the recent news of the government increasing VAT to 20%! and increasing prices on almost everything it has put me off taking out a 11k loan and taking 5 years to pay it off. So i've made the choice of not spending more than 7k on my next car.

I've come to a choice of either a Honda Civic Type-R EP3 or a Toyota Celica T Sport. The Celica is my favourite choice for a budget sporty car but do they drive as good as they look? Also not that it realy bothers me but are they still popular cars? I hardly see them anymore.

I tried to look for a good forum about these Celica's but they are all based in the U.S and not U.K.

A lot of people want turbo cars and do all that tunning stuff but i'm not bothered about all that, I just want something that looks nice and is fun to drive & reliable.

Has anyone on here driven a Celica or owned a Celica that might be able to give me more info about these cars?

My wife loves this program The Hills, which is about self obsessed, rich American stick insects who live of their daddies money. I totally hate this program and I just can't believe that America is really like that or am I wrong?! The blokes on that show look gay for a star and the girls look like Barbie or Cindy dolls! Why on earth would anyone in their right mind watch this sh*t?! It's the same as all the other crap like the Hogan knows best and The Bloody Osbourne's. We seem to get more and more of the same old crap on our boxes all the time. I've got Sky which is where all this crap is shown on and to be perfectly honest I don't think I get my money's worth. But it's not only Sky it's BBC and ITV as well! All this Big Sh*t Brother nonsense where a bunch of retards stay in a house and watch all night them sleeping! what's that all about? To cut this short I hardly watch TV anymore unless it's a film on or a good TV series on. The last time TV was actually any good was when the X-Files was on. Today our TV is ultra low budget and there just isn't anything of any interest on anymore. Any views on this? Please let me know.

I've just seen the game play on Youtube of the Formula1 2010 which is coming out on the 23rd of September on all consoles and PC. I thought it looked really good and you can have a season career mode on it and do quite a lot in fact other than just racing. I normally don't bother with Formula 1 style games only the Forza3 and Dirt games but this looks really good. Has anyone else seen the Youtube demo of the Formula 1 2010? Anyone going to buy it when it comes out? There is going to be online play as well so you can race with real people. The only annoying thing is, will it be a case of shoving people off the tracks so they get an advantage like people do on Forza3 online?

I've being wanting to buy the Honda Civic Type-R for years now. Finally I can buy one after finishing paying off my other Honda Civic. The problem is, now that the Type-R has been discontinued will I have problems with servicing, taxing, and getting parts for it in the future? I'm intending on keeping the car for at least 6 years. I also like the Skoda Octavia vRS mk2 but I prefer the looks of the new mk3 model which is still out of my budget at the moment. The Honda makes sense to me as a lot of Honda dealers are reducing the prices of the Type-R to make room for new cars.

Does anyone have any idea to my question about the Type-R? any Type-R owners on here that might know? I love the car but I want to make sure it's not a case of "sorry, we don't do those parts anymore because it's discontinued!" Please help me on this thanks.

I've seen in the store on Bad Company 2 you can download new uniforms and equipment camo's but are they worth spending 480 credits on? ? How much is 480 credits anyway?

I've seen other players online with the new camo gear and making them even more harder to spot! It does kind of look cool though, is it worth the money?

How do I change my card details on Xbox Live? I set it up and currently use my credit card but I would like to use my Debit card instead can anyone tell me how to change the details?

Also why do other players kill me with 3 bullets and I have to unload an entire magazine to get a kill! I'm on rank 6 at the moment but people seem to have lightning quick trigger fingers, how do I improve my game?

I got a BT Homehub with fast speed internet. The only problem is my internet speed is 54Mbps which is quite slow! I bought last year a wireless Desktop card, Belkin wireless G. However I don't think it works with BT. There is an icon on the bottom right screen that looks like an antenna or stick! This stick is meant to be green to show that wireless is on but it's not on because the stick is grey! Does that mean the wireless card does not work with the hub? The wireless light is on green on the hub. I also have an Xbox 360 with a wireless adaptor which also can't pick up my hub? yet I can use my PS3 wireless with not much problems? I would like to know if it could be the wireless card and if so what is a good card to use that works for BT HomeHub with a strong signal and is good for gaming.

I have BT Broadband but sometimes when I connect to this game it comes up with a Message that says I Can't connect to EA at moment please try again! I also can't always get connected to MW2 either as it says no games found! Does anyone know what is going on here? Is it my Internet or is it something else? It's really frustrating. I was in a Team Death Match online on BFBC2 and when I got blown up and It froze!

I turned the console off and on and tried again but it comes up with the EA message to try again. Someone came round here 4 weeks ago and put the BT HUB password in and now the internet is very slow. I was last year given a new password by BT after spending 4 hrs on the phone with them! as I was having problems getting my internet to work.

The broadband stick on the bottom right hand screen is not green and I don't really know how to sort it out. I don't know what the password is that BT gave me and when I phoned them they don't have it either or any knowledge of it, only the one that came in the box which doesn't work! I know i'm asking a lot here but if anyone who is a bit more technically minded than I am and has any suggestions to what to do that would be helpful. I was thinking of getting a computer Technician to sort it out but that could be really expensive.

I got mine copy yesterday on the PS3 for £8! after trading in 3 games of course. I also got the essential guide to help me find the weapons for £7.99. I have to say the guide is very useful and it tells you everything about the game and how to get the best game play. First of all I was a bit sceptical about weather I was going to like this game or not. I didn't like the first one very much to be honest and I was a MW2 fan for a long time and never thought anything could be better!

I'm pleased then to say I was wrong! Battlefield Bad Company 2 in my view is a lot better and it probably cost a lot less to make too. MW2 was and is a great game no doubt but there are a few things that annoy me and I think Infinity Ward missed out on. First of all the story on MW2 was very short. The campaign on this lasts for about 10 to 12 hours.

Back to MW2. The fact you can't blow up buildings other than car wrecks is disappointing. The biggest disappointment for me was when you can't drive anything other than the snow skiing race down hill.

B.B.C.2 however you can blow up things with a BIG bang! You can use lots of fixed guns such as mortars, anti aircraft guns etc. You also have lots of different weapons, one of my favourite one is the M95 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle! It's so powerful that one head shot kills you and and if 5 other people were standing behind would kill them too! If you get shot anywhere else you lose a full health leaving you mortally wounded! The campaign is very good and although I haven't completed it yet I found it much more enjoyable to play than MW2 campaign.

I know it sounds like i'm slagging MW2 off but i'm not. The graphics in my view are Ace and the sound quality is amazing especially if you've got a surround sound system like I do. Just turn it up loud! I also like the sense of humour that your team buddies have, most of the time they say stuff about the film Predator! and other funny stuff. The controls are also fantastic, if you like the controls of MW2 you'd feel right at home here.

Overall this is my favourite game of the year and it will last for a long time. You really have to get this you will love it. I'm pleased with it and pleased to be able to replace a shooter game, I can't comment on online play because i've yet to try it. Has anyone else got they're copy yet? and on what format? Do you like the game? tell me what you think of Battlefield Bad Company 2.

I received my Xbox copy yesterday morning. I installed it and I also got the extra maps and rubber Face Hugger. I have played all 3 species and find the Aliens to be the hardest to master. The Marines are the easiest to play and the Predator is also fairly easy to pick up. I did try and play online but there are virtually no players! I did manage to play 1 game online with only 3 people! not like MW2 where there are several million players online! The game play is good but being the Alien is hard, this is mainly because you have to hold the rb button to climb walls and ceilings. Knowing where you are is also hard as the game setting is very, very dark and creepy! Turn the volume to the max and prepare to change your underpants very soon!!!! Being the Marines is the scariest as it's very claustrophobic and the constant motion detector keeps you alert when you hear that bleep! "Where the hell is it?!, I can't see!" "It's right there, RIGHT THERE!!!!! AAAAAGGGHHH!!!!!!!" So the game is good but I wouldn't call it a MW2 either. Aliens Vs Predator is however far more technical in game play than MW2. You think first, before you move! MW2 is more like " oh hell, lets just run in the middle of a battlefield and you don't get shot! MW2 therefore a run & gun game and no strategy. Don't get me wrong I love MW2, I play it a lot, maybe too much but it is a run & gun game, especially online I'm on Prestige level 25 or 95! if you count 25 after level 70!.

So for me MW2 is still there in the top shooter games, AVP is in a league of it's own, a brilliant Technical First person Shooter if there is such thing as that, it would be the best. There is one annoying thing though. When I put the CD in the console the noise the Xbox makes is ridiculously loud & intrusive! so loud in fact I preferred to wear my headphones to muffle the annoying fan noise. Why does the Xbox have that noise problem? and the PS3 is as quiet as a mouse?! Or is it my Xbox? All other discs are fine but AVP is very loud and continues to be loud. So if you are going to buy this game I would get it on PS3 just to avoid that intrusive fan noise. I should have done the same really. So has anyone got AVP on any console? What do you think of the game? happy or rubbish?

I was very excited to learn that there is an Aliens vs Predator first person game coming out in 10 days. I was even more excited to find out that there are a couple of special editions too! There is a Survival Edition: Comes with Tin box & 5 download able survival levels! There is also a Hunter Edition that comes with the same stuff as Survival but also a face hugger model statue! I've heard of some other once too that give you new face plates for free. Survival is for sale at £54.99 and Hunter at £59.99! Would you pay that price? Has anyone pre-ordered their copy yet? I'm a die hard fan of the franchise myself, so I would buy it! The game so far has received positive feedback on game websites and from the general public. I think it's something people have been waiting for for a long time for something like this to come out. Has anyone else pre-ordered this game? and if so what do you think the game will be likeespeciallyly online?

I, myself am a big fan of Aliens & Predator. I've got a very rare 16" Alien statue which they only made 2,500 pieces of 3 years ago and it's worth £400! so I had to pre-order the Hunter Edition, Although it was hard to find one! Amazon have sold out! Play.com don't do that version,Game & Gamestation only do the normal version & survival. I however, managed to pre-order the Hunter version at HMV online! If you want that version with all the goodies I'd order it quickly as they will sell out very fast! The game looks so good I can't wait to play it online! Which side would you be on? I'd choose the Predator!,maybe the Alien!

I have already asked this question before without much luck. I got an Xbox 360 Elite and a wireless 'N' Router the one with 2 aerials. The problem starts here. In the box of the router comes as Disc that according to the instructions I need to put in the CD tray to install the software. The problem is when the CD is in the Xbox nothing happens?! I can see the icon saying the disc is in the tray and it says Multi Media Files is on the CD. The problem is It won't give me an option to play the CD or install it. I plugged the router in the back of the Xbox and the green light is flashing. This flashing light means there is no signal found! I've got a PS3 next to it and it has a very strong signal from my Home hub, so why doesn't the Xbox pick the signal up? I phoned Xbox helpline and to be honest they are useless, they claim my Xbox is too far away from my BT Home hub which is upstairs and they think the only way for me to get connected is to get a Ethernet cable which will need to be almost 20 meters long! for me to reach the hub trailing on the floor. I don't really want to do this as it will make my house bloody messy with cables all over the floor. Can any one please give me some help as to how i'm going to be able to solve this problem because as much as I like the Xbox 360 my PS3 was much more easy to set up. Please help me 10 points for best answer

I got an Xbox 360 Elite with a phone contract and I'd like to play online as both brothers and friends are online. However as it's the first time for me to go on Xbox Live I need some help to get there. I have a wireless router for the Xbox that connects to the back of the box. It also came with a CD, the instructions say for me to put the CD into the Xbox tray and follow the instructions to installing the router. I tried this but the Xbox won't play the CD, It says it's got Media files on it but it won't allow me to play the disc! The wireless router has a green light that flashes so does that mean it is working? My brother told me I need to create an account first before I can even get online? I did try and connect without creating anything but it won't do it. Can anyone please tell me how to get started as i've got no clue to how to do it! It's a lot more difficult to set up than the Playstation 3 in my opinion to get online. If anyone can help me get connected and it works you'll get 10 points!
