Developers are buying old houses and redoing them or completely tearing them down to build something new. My grandpa has a house in this neighborhood on a pretty big lot. I am now the owner, and the house is rented out. What would be some options for me considering the changes in the neighborhood. I DO NOT want to sell his land, ever. Is there a market for nice houses for rent or just to buy?

I applied for a position that I was kind of qualified for and actually got a call back. I had a phone interview, a video interview, a long test and an in-person interview. I never heard anything back after 2 weeks.

Initially there were 4 positions open (2 day/2 night). I checked online and now it's just a opening for 2 night positions.

When asked by my interviewers if i preferred days or nights. I said I would prefer days. The recruiter asked if nights would be a deal breaker and I told him that it would not.

Should I apply again? If they wanted me they would have offered the night position right?

Hello. I am applying for a higher position at my current job. The job description is listed and so is the hiring manager. The lead in my current position recommended me for the new position to the hiring manager after I had submitted my application.

My lead thinks I should go talk to him, which I believe is a good idea, but I am lost on how to start off the conversation.

I have the job description so what else is there to talk about?

I was thinking about asking about any restructuring? The position exsist already, but they feel the need to hire 4 more people for it. Also I am probably going to just introduce myself being that I have already been recommended. And other suggestions?
