How can this be done in FF, most simply without extensions etc.?

I have a server on a 100mbit port (eth0: negotiated 100baseTx-FD flow-control, link ok). When I try to wget e.g. http://download.thinkbroadband.com/1GB.zip or http://speedtest.atlanta.linode.com/100MB-atlanta.... I get net wget speeds about 15M/s or even more, which is more than 120mbit. The file is compressed (tried with gzip). How could this be?

When you have e.g. flu, chickenpox, rubella or whatever antibodies, they say it's good for you. Why is it not good to have HIV antibodies? Isn't it because present antibodies just show there was a contact and nothing more about actual immunity?

I've read that in UK Internet is heavily censored, ie. you can't access any site you like. I've read that in UK you have to testify against yourself (you'll be jailed for not disclosing truecrypt password) - something not even acceptable in countries like Iran, Belarus etc. I've read that in UK children are being "legally" stolen from their parents (of course not from privileged Muslim ones) as part of adoption business. Not to say you can't even own a gun to defend yourself against criminals or government criminals. Are these things true?

I'm looking for Windows command prompt equivalent of Linux command:

find -depth -type d -empty -exec rmdir {} \;

Autoplay works, but the devices are not listed in Control Panel - AutoPlay - Devices, thus I can't set it up per device. Tried two different PCs, USB sticks, USB harddisk, DVDs, nothing. In XP I could just right-click the disk and there was Autoplay tab.

One HDD avg speed 240 MB/s (raid0), another external usb3 avg speed 90 MB/s (both measured by HDTune).

Copying large files between these is only 40 MB/s. Why?

Quad-core i7. I always thought the copying is asynchronous, thus the speed should be almost the same as the slowest element - 90 MB/s. What am I missing please?

For those of you waken up from post-democratic illusion, seeing that everything is going to hell - less and less human rights, more and more "health"care, junk-food, taxes, war on terror, fiat money etc. - do you believe that all the bad things will in the end lead to catharsis, making the world better? Or do we end up living in a Brave New World?

I finally converted to Win7 however haven't found anything new that could be of any use for me. I need to do like five things before an average user drives mouse across the screen. And it really brings nothing new since WinXP SP2. Transparency of the bloated window borders? What for? Win+Tab instead of Alt+Tab? I can Alt+Tab like 3 times before I orientate in Win+Tab. I already disabled fading, animations, lowered mousehoverdelay, etc. - and if I want to work effectively I basically end up with overpriced bloated Win XP, with brand new quad-core i7.

My question is, is there any Windows theme for really effective work? I consider to switch to Windows Classic theme, but I hope there are better alternatives. For example using real transparency, non-bloated windows borders, real snapping of Windows to each other, whatever. I need super effective and fast work, nothing more.

I know limitipconn does the per IP limit, but it drops 503 for the excessive connections. How to do it that the excessive connections are just queued and served once the pervious are closed?

I took two older Chihuahuas from my mother-in-law. They're overweight, one is 2,9 kg (6.3lbs - just fat) and the bigger one is 3,8 kg (8.3lbs - slightly overweight). I want them to lose weight, the smaller (but fatter) is starting to have some medical problems and she needs to lose weight.

I've totally rejected the idea of feeding them commercial pet food, after recognizing that it's mainly grain and lot of chemicals. I want to feed them naturally, that is raw - meat, bones, organs, skin, some vegetables and fruits. I plan to cook the meat (they're used to cooked meat) shorter and shorter (few seconds) until they get used to raw (the smaller fatty doesn't want raw at all for now). I'm sure the combination of this transition and hunger will teach them in few days/weeks.

But I can't find how much food I should give them. I've found just some Excel sheet to count that, but it is proportional - it says eg. 90g (3.2 oz) for 3kg dog and 900g (32 oz) for 30kg food. But I think larger animals eat less per weight - compare elephant and a mouse for example.

Chihuahuas look hungry and eat their daily food in few minutes - for example yesterday each got something like:

- meat from chicken leg with cartilage&skin - 70 grams (2.5 oz)

- chicken hearts (3 hearts I think ~15 grams - 0.5 oz)

- little bit of apricot (maybe half of small apricot)

Should I give them more food? For example should I let them (once a day) eath as much as they want within some time constraint (eg. 15 minutes)? Thank you.
