I am a 24 yr old female. I just finished my last dose of Accutane last night. I have been on it for the entire 5 month cycle. I had the typical dry skin and lips, etc. At the 3rd month, I stopped getting my period. So so far i have missed 2 periods. I was wondering if that is a side effect to accutane? I was on accutane before (3 years ago) and did the entire 5 month cycle before and did not have any missed periods. I know I am not pregnant. The doctor has been doing pregnancy tests throughout the entire accutane cycle. I can cramps like it feels like my period is coming but it doesn't. Will my period start up again now that I just finished my last dose? Anyone have this problem?

On saturday, I dropped a can on my left big toe. I screamed like crazy and started crying. The toe nail immediately turned black and blue and the top part of my big toe started to swell. I didn't think it was broken. I just thought that the pain would go well in a little bit. You know when you hurt something and it stings really bad but it goes away in a few minutes? Thats what I thought happened. But now is Monday night and I see cant put any pressure on it. Its still swollen and black and blue. It even hurts when I do not put any pressure on it. Do you think its broken? and if so, does anyone know what they can do for a broken toe?

Ok here my story. So about 3 weeks ago me and my finance had unprotected sex. 2 days later we decided to get the Plan B to make sure we didnt get pregnant. I took both pills but took the second pill about 6 hours later than when I was suppose to. About 3-5 days after taking plan B i had some bleeding. I did not not what to think of it because I just had my period about a week before taking plan B. So the bleeding last for about 3 days or so. I looked online and found that getting your period early was coming when taking plan B. Now it has been 3 weeks since I took the plan b. Now i am experiencing extreme cramping and pain. I really never felt this much cramping or pain just for a period before and I shouldn't be due for a period for another 2 weeks or so. Could this cramping be an early sign of pregnancy?

I need some creative and inexpensive ways to decorate for my son's first birthday party. We are going with a baby einstein theme. For all of you that do not know what baby einstein is, its all about primary colors and animals, etc. I bought 5 baby einstein mylar balloons and about 25 each of yellow, blue and red balloons to be paried with the baby einstein balloons. I got baby einstein dessert plates and napkins, but instead of getting baby einstein dinner plates I got 25 red, 25 blue and 25 yellow plastic plates. I did the same thing with the cups, since the baby einstein cups were really tiny. I am not having many children at this party, as he is only one years old and doesn't have baby friends. In total I believe there will be about 5 kids, which are cousins of his so I do not want to do any games or anything. its more of an adult party of our family to celebrate my sons first birthday so I do not want to get carried away with the baby games, etc. I would love to have baby einstien life size cutouts but they are a tad expensive. We are having his birthday party at our house. Can you help me come up with any ideas on how I can decorate my house with the baby einstein theme and the primary colors? Any idea will be great.

My mom is turning 50 soon and I decided to make her a slide-show of pics from her life, starting with her baby pictures to the pictures of her with her only grandchild so far. Its very cute. Now i need some good songs to put in the background of the slideshow. what songs would be good for that kind of slideshow? let me know. thanks

Im getting married Jully 2009. Although it is a summer wedding we are getting married inside. Our wedding site is www.celebrationsweddings.com. I really like the color blue. and I really like the idea of lemon yellow. I was thinking about making centerpieces out of lemons b/c lemons always remind me of summer. A few people have suggested that cornflower blue would look better than a tiffany blue color blue with the yellow. Do you think cornflower blue and lemon yellow would like nice together? Anyone find any pictures online that would help me? ANy advice and suggestions would be great. Thank You

Hi. Ok I am getting married in July 2009. Even though it is a summer wedding, our ceremony and reception will be taking place inside. The website to our reception and ceremony site is www.celebrationsweddings.com- I really like the aqua blue/tiffany blue color. Also, I really like the idea of using lemons for centerpieces since it is bright for summer and lemons are cheaper than flowers. Therefore, I am considering doing a aqua blue/tiffany blue and lemom yellow wedding theme. I would use the blue for the linens and then yellow as the accent color. How does that sound? Do you think that is a nice color combo? Anyone have any pictures that I could use for ideas for the wedding? any ideas at all would be nice. Thank You.

hi. my son is 1 1/2 weeks old. we have tried breastfeeding but he did not take to it very well. so instead of giving him formula, i am pumping for breast milk. i give my son 4 oz. of breast milk by bottle every 3 to 4 hours. He seems fussy. If he falls asleep after his feeding, he can usually go 3 to 4 hours between feedings. but when he is awake between feedings it seems like he goes only 2 or so hours. i know breast milk is easier digested than formula. so is going 3 to 4 hours betwwen 4oz breast milk feedings too long? Any input would be great. Thank u

Hi. I just delivered my son a week ago today. When I was in labor the doctor noticed that the baby had passed his first stool when they broke my water. During delivering, my baby had swolled some. He was put in NICU to get the fluid out of his lungs. They fixed that problem within a day but then noticed some air in his stomach so they kept him in NICU for another 2 days. Then they said he was fine and was released. Now I have him home. He has been home since friday. He has a serve diaper rash. I also notice that he has Alot of gas. When he passes gas, greenish-yellowish watery stool comes out. He needs to be changed like 10 to 15 times a day. This any of this common? Should i be concerned? Anyone experience similiar things? Anything I could do to help it? Thanks

ok. My due date is on Tuesday. My last doctors appt was on Monday 3/24. I had an internal exam and my doctor said I was not dilated at all yet. My next appt. is on Wednesday, one day after my due date. I have been having alot of cramps. They get bad at times but always go away eventually. When I get these cramps, I feel alot of pressure down below like I am going to pee my pants uncontrobably. Any advice on what is going on?

Ok so on Monday I had a doctors appt. I was 38 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I had my first internal vaginal exam done and the doctor said that I had not became to dilate yet. He did not mention anything about effacement, so I do not know where I stand in that aspect. My due date is on Tuesday April 1st. He scheduled me for another doctors appt on Wed. April 2nd. I do not know if I have started to dilate since my monday appt. But I do know that I have been having alot of cramps and back pains and I do feel some intense pressure down below at certain times. However I have felt those symptoms before Mondays appt and I was not dilated. I have not experienced losing my mucus plug or water breaking yet. Now being 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant and not losing my mucus plug yet, would you say I still have a ways to go in this pregnancy? FYI this is my first pregnancy. Any info would be great. ok here is my story. I am 37w2days pregnant. On friday I was taken to the emergency room for an non-pregnancy related issue. I was admitted on Friday night for that issue. Since I was 36w3days pregnant, they put me on a baby monitor just to monitor the baby during my stay. The nurse said I was having contractions every 2 to 3 minutes but they did not seem to be labor contractions. On Monday, I had to get surgery for this non-pregnancy issue. After surgery I started having really bad pains in my back and had alot of contractions. The doctor gave me my first internal exam and he said that I was just a tad bit dilated. After changing positions these contractions went away. I've had alot of cramping over the last week. I havent lost my mucus plug or had a bloody show yet. I am experiencing some loose bowels. I can't sleep anymore. I am very uncomfortable. While i was at the hospital, I was put on the monitor 2 times a day. each day the nurse said I had 2 or 3 contractions an hour.

36 weeks pregnant and developed diarrhea over the last 2 to 3 days. My stomach all day long sounds very upset. you can hear how unsettled it is. also having some cramping and backpain. this normal this late in pregnancy?

Hello. just posted a question about being lightheaded and nauseas and getting headaches the last couple of days. Someone suggested that I might have low iron and to get it checked out. I will get it check out at my next doctors appt. I'm just curious that if it is found to be that I do have low iron, what does that mean? I mean does having low iron cause a risk to the baby? would i have to deliver early? or does it not really matter and i will just continue on in my pregnancy?

I'm 35 weeks pregnant today. Today is the second day in a row that i have been experiencing nausea and feeling lightheaded. Also had a bad headache for the last 2 days. I'm not sure if he is dropping because I still feel him very high in my ribs. I def. feel my uterus is up at my ribs. It's very uncomfortable. Does the lightheadedness and the nausea and headaches mean anything or are they common pregnancy symptoms?

My next doctors appt is March 4th. I will be 36 weeks pregnant then. I know i am getting tested for the Group B Strep at my next visit. Since I will be 36 weeks, will she also give me an internal exam to check my cervix to see if im dilated and effaced? or will she wait till the next visit which will be one week later at 37 weeks?

When you are 36 weeks, you start to go see the doctors once every week. What should I except during those visits?

Ok here is my story. The first day of my last period was June 16th 2007. Well I found out i was pregnant on July 20th. So when I found out I went online and did one of those due date calculator things. It gave me a due date of March 22, 2008. So then once I go to the doctors and get my first ultrasound, the doctors give me a due date of April 1st. When I went to get my anatomy scan at 18 weeks, the ultrasound tech gave me a due date of March 27th. I could understand the difference between the April 1st and March 27th since thats only like 5 days. but why would 40 weeks from my last pregnancy,march 22nd, and my due date from the doctors, april 1st, be off my like two weeks? just curious.
