  • How does an Avatar of a Guy shooting a Golf Ball, violate Community Guidelines?

    I can't believe this !

I've used my Avatar since I joined Yahoo back in 2007. I've participated on Yahoo Answers, and have over 80 Best Answerers. AND, was "awarded" the title of "Top Contributor".

Now, all of a sudden, my Avatar which is a jokefull picture of a Guy hitting a Golf Ball, is now considered as depicting nudity or sexual act or contains hate speech symbols according to some employee on the Yahoo Staff. And this individual has removed my Top Contributor status from beneath my name. You can see the Avatar to the left and above my name.

Will someone PLEASE tell me, just what in this Avatar has caused that.

  • PETCO responsible for ONE HUNDRED animal deaths !?

A few days ago, a river in NY flooded. It was well advertised that there would be rising water, and the Manager and Employees of that Petco Store, just locked the door and walked off, leaving about 100 animals to drown.

For one, I’m sure going to be thinking about that, the next time I need some Pet Supplies, and they won’t be coming from Petco. That’s called a “Boycott” by the way.

  • Reduced Engine Power Message?

I have a 2003 Chev Suburban K1500 Z71, and have recently seen the "Reduced Engine Power" message displayed on the speedometer cluster. When this happens, the vehicle can not be operated above about 10 mph. I had the Throttle Body Harness/Plug replaced on it for $670.00, and it didn't help. Message appeared again after about 10 days.

Anyone had this problem and actually fixed it ?

Any information on this will be appreciated... thanks.

  • Security Wire Window Screens for Suburban.?

I know that there is a “full” Wire Divider for the Cargo space of a Suburban, and have seen several of those. But, I would like to have in addition to that, some small (tough) Wire Screens, to install inside on the back Door Windows. I want to lower the windows and open the back glass flap, to allow good air circulation for my Dogs when parked. Anyone have a Link where something like that is available ?

  • Horsepower Rating VORTEC 8100?

Is there a "tag" on the Frame/Body or some method to identify the original Horsepower of the VORTEC 8100 V8 SFI Engine (in a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban if that's important)

The Factory rates these from 225-460 HP, how do I find out which one it is ?

  • Crate a Dog... Yea or Née ?

    One opinion is:

    ABSOLUTELY NOT !

Why punish them, especially if they are an active Breed, with confinement !

The only reasons to have a Crate, are...

To transport a strange animal in a vehicle,

especially if the vehicle isn't yours.

    As a Medical Confinement area,

temporary isolation from other Animals, or for their safety.

    A Viewpoint:

    I have a Crate,

which either of my Dogs has been in only once.

It sets in our Utility Room, with the door open,

and my Dogs use it for stashing treats in.

If I needed to confine them, I’d put them in that Utility Room (100 SF),

    and close the Door, or...

Allow them access on into the Breakfast Room/Kitchen (additional 300 SF),

and close that area off from the rest of the house.

Or if necessary, in a Bathroom, but furnish Food, Water, and a temporary Potty Area.

    An explanation:

I know that lots of people have Crates, but, I just refuse to treat them like that,

I would not like it if I were shut up, in a small areal like that, with no food,

water, or an away area to evacuate in.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    The other opinion is:

EVERY OWNER SHOULD HAVE A CRATE !

Is this you, or do you agree with the first opinion ?
