I am pushing 39 years old (in July), happily married to Joe B. and have 5 beautiful children. I worked in the medical field for over 10 years, love history and other sorted subjects. I have been writing a cookbook for a while now and getting it just right before sending it to a publisher (focusing on meals for everyone including the diabetic and heart patient). I love fishing, being outdoors, hunting, spending time with my husband and children. I found Yahoo Answers! because of my husband. I think it's great that there is a forum such as this.
Something other than cartoon card collections?
Is there anyone out there who still likes learning card games like Canasta, Bridge, etc. ? My kids tell me that nobody is interested in "old" games anymore. Everyone is busy collecting some silly cards that depict cartoon characters.

I used to have recipies for these but sometime during my move several years ago from the east coast to NW Arkansas I lost a bunch of crafting ideas. We're in the middle of bad weather right now and want to give my two youngest some other things to do rather than glue to the lobotomy box (TV)
