Yesterday, I saw a Christmas card that someone in one of the departments at work had received. It had a really nice picture of a smiling polar bear lying on its back, wearing a Santa cap. Standing on its belly was a large, very plump penguin with a gift in its flippers. In the sky was a five-pointed star with a comet's tail. Inside the card were the usual Christmas wishes about peace and good wishes etc.

I can't believe this! Didn't the artist stop for even a minute to realize that this scenario couldn't possibly happen!? Penguins are native to the southern hemisphere. Polar bears are indigenous to the northern.

In other words, they could not possibly meet!!

Frankly, folks, I think this is just plain out wrong! I think that there's no place in the Christmas celebration for imaginary and impossible images and pictures.
