    Despite the bad slow mo weed experience in the link above,

    I would smoke weed and enjoy it with friends.

    I had a neighbor who smoked me out one day I think i was around 15 or 16, who was also my dad's drug dealer (told me after) >:[

    I didn't know him very well. He packed me a bowl and I was the only one hitting it, and I felt amazing, body high just very mellow. More people came over and they rolled a blunt, It was brown looking / sticky, and they poured honey on top of it. It went around 3 times between 4 people (I was already pretty high , i never smoked that much before) They said it was "chronic" all the other times I smoked it was "pretendo" or whatever they called it. Really low grade weed.

    When the 3rd time came around to hit, my vision went haywire, And turned into 1000 tv screens stacked all over the place and in my mind and out loud I said "I'M TRIPPING"

    I went into this extremely mind breaking delusion/ derealization, that this was a mistake and it was the forbidden fruit, and that I was going to hell, and I was tricked, and I was wrestling with God and the devil, my movements were organized I kept going through a mind battle , my mind was thinking by itself terrible thoughts of the meaning of life and I was going to be stuck in this mindset forever. It was terrible. I fell asleep and didn't touch it for years. Now most of the time I smoke, I get stuck in this trip

  • Childhood bad marijuanna experience explanation?

    The first time I smoked weed, it was a very uncomfortable experience, but nothing mind breaking (i'll explain later) and totally manageable. Slowmotion, hd vision and hearing, everything tasted good, paranoid.

    The 2nd time I encountered weed about a week or so later; I ate it in the 7th grade, the 2nd period before lunch. I ate a whole joint (because i was an idiot 7th grader trying to impress everyone) from a friend who their dad sells it and laces it with PCP (i cannot confirm this, this was just by word)

    It kicked in when the period ended onto my next class , when I was walking to the period before lunch.

    This time the feeling of weed was completely different. Everything was extreeeeeemely slow

    Like if i lifted up my hand It would feel like it was still at my waist,

    my friend slapped me for eating the weed and said "dude that's going to last 3 months"

    everything was moving like picture clips

    It wore off when I ate lunch, it was definitely scary. But i felt normal after

    The same day around 6 it was hs orientation, and when i was waiting to be interviewed everything slowed down slow motion like picture frames.

    For about 4-6 months everything would "kick in" and "kick out" of slow motion. Some times I would feel sober. It would be random like I would be in class and someone asks a question and then all of a sudden matrix style slow motion and I could feel my body move like frame by frame, over time It faded out, and VERY rarely now, I get a "flash back"

  • Questions about driving stick-shift?

    Hello this is going to be my 3rd day driving stick. SO far i have made it to point A to point B (with stalling of course)

    I have a few questions:

    Lets say i am traveling 40 Mph on a street to a stop light. Upon nearing the light, i put the car into neutral to coast into the light. Before i reach a complete stop, the light turns green.

    I am in neutral, do i:

    A: completely stop, put into first, balance the clutch and gas , and get into gear?

    B: keep rolling, shift into 1st or 2nd just like a normal upshift into 2nd to 3rd or 4th to 5th, add gas (without the effort of getting into 1st gear from a dead stop?)

    or C: keep rolling, shift into 1st gear or 2nd, but the effort required to get into gear is the same as getting into gear from a dead stop?

    (my theory is that , since i am rolling, i can shift into 1st gear without the same effort as a dead stop, but i am too scared to try, my clutch is already taking a beating with my driving)

    2nd question: THE HILLS. I cannot conquer these mad beasts. It seems the only way to get out of them are to over rev and burn/peel/ out my tires just to get over them.

    I am scared of rolling back and hitting the car behind me.

    I have tried the hand brake method, but i peeled out so much harder than i tried normally trying to balance the clutch without the hand brake.

    Please explain in detail how to get into gear from a hill.

    A friend has explained that I can find the biting point of the clutch, and let it a little past of the biting point, and the car will not roll back, but the clutch will be slipping/burning the whole time, and but i can get into gear by adding gas without the worry of rolling back.

    Can anyone add to this or confirm this?

  • Donated plasma today, but for some reason the blood could not be returned?

    I donated plasma today, it was my first time. I got about 1/4th of a bottle full (of plasma). During the procedure (needle was already in my vein), the machine kept making beeping noises, and i tried to pump my hands to get the machine to light to green, but it wouldn't go so they stopped me (they said the meter had to be in the green range for optimal efficiency or something). I guess it wasn't sufficiently filtering out the plasma or wasn't getting enough flow, anyways, so the lady stopped the machine and bandaged the site, and said i needed to get my blood back in me, that i'd have to put another needle in me, so they tried my other arm (right arm) but they couldn't find a vein. So i guess they abandoned the idea of returning my blood.

    I felt light headed so they gave me chips and gatorade and i felt a little better, now i'm back home with a unique experience.

    I'm just curious why they couldn't return the blood to me, and what are the consequences for not being able to get my red blood cells back? Could it be that i wasn't hydrated enough? (i drank tons and tons of prior to the operation)

  • Rubber carpet in car instead of regular car carpet?

    I bought a car with a neglected carpet with many stains. I went to walmart and bought replacement carpetting (its pretty cheap 10 bucks for a giant roll, used 2) , though i did a bad job and cut too short and had floating pieces everywhere. I also don't like how grass or other objects get stuck in the material.

    What do you guys think of laying rubber material over the existing carpet? It would be stain resistant and i could easily vaccuum any gunk that clogs up.

    Only problem is to find that rubber material

    Another material i thought about was from a fabric store, its a gloss black material similar to table cloth plasticy material.

    What do you guys think of replacing the existing carpet with rubber or plastic material?

    Or should i just stick with replacement carpet from walmart and do it right this time and vacuum it really well when stuff gets clogged?

  • Feels like there is air trapped in throat?

    Hello. smoked half pack to full pack a day from late 14-20. About 1 year worth of abstinence in between.

    Also chewed/dipped tobacco from 15-16 occasionally

    and from 18-20 when i quit smoking i would dip 1 full can in about 2-3 days.

    Before quitting dip

    (i'm 20 going on 21 in a few months)

    i switched to oral snus from sweden, supposedly safer

    was much more potent (odens extreme) and

    the flavor was extremely strong and burned (they said you can swallow it)

    i occasionally swallowed when i did not have the option to spit.

    I had no noticable throat problems when i was using regular tobacco/smoking, just smokers cough etc

    after the swallowing of swedish snus i feel like air is trapped in my throat.

    The area that feels like air is trapped is just above the right clavicle (closer to the sternum) and under the adams apple, to the right.

    Swallowing is weird now, i had extreme dysphagia when dipping/snus, but i have quit for almost a month or more, but it is still here.

    i feel like i need to constantly drink something to remedy this, but it doesn't help.

    There is no pain, just an air trapped feeling

    Also from 18-20 i've gained lots of weight from being on and off quitting tobacco

    i am 5 foot tall and weight around 142-145 pounds, i used to weigh 120 when i was healthy and active and exercised for more than 2 hours daily.

    Now i am sedentary and make poor food choices

    I noticed i snore, (sleep apnea?) have poor energy throughout the day, do not wake up refreshed no matter how long the sleep is

    I am concerned that this is cancer or some complication due to the carinogens found in tobacco products.

    Or is this due to the fact that i have neglected my physical health from lack of exercise, basically is it just because i got overweight that i have this feeling in my throat

    or is it both?

    Also 2 weeks ago i got a pill stuck in my throat while drinking water, and it happened to get stuck in that area, it felt dry and the pill was sticking (maybe from lack of water going to that side), and felt like it was a pocket

    I am also using electronic cigarettes for nicotine replacement (no combustion: little to no carciongens, liquid nicotine, no tobacco product, basically propelyne glycol (or glycerin perhaps) and nicotine liquid)

    Any tips or suggestions of what it may be please help

    i've heard that it could be GERD (i do not get burning sensatino)

    or dysphagia caused by the tobacco

    Plan to go visit the doctor when schedule is less hectic

    this all started when swallowing the swedish snus or dipping tobacco, the uvula would get swollen like infected and would hit my tongue and it would be difficult to swallow, i have quit because of that,

    as of now i look in the mirror and my uvula still hits my tongue (overweight?) i also had my tonsils removed

  • Car air conditioning does not blow as cold as other cars?

    Hello. My car air conditioning (1994 acura integra ls) does not blow as cold as other cars. I have changed almost all components of the a/c, and recharged it. (a/c expansion valve, drier/receiver, compressor).

    The car blows cold air, but not as cold as i thought it would be.

    I put the recommended a/c compressor oil, with plain r134a (no seal leak, no additives).

    I charged it and it is getting 40-50 PSI on the low end. (initial reading when i first charged it 5 months ago has the same reading, so i'm sure there is no leaks as i put colored pag oil i would notice) (on the a/c gauge tool i have past 55 is in the red zone, my car reading is in the green zone, and 0-20 is in the blue zone)

    also when i changed the a/c expansion valve, on the original one there was heavy duty insulation on it. When i changed it i did not use heavy insulation but rather foam pipe insulation.

    Could this be the cause of the air conditioning not blowing as cold as other cars?

    all other a/c lines have heavy insulation.

    I did not change out the a/c condenser and it seems as if it is the original (i did gently blow it out with water to release dirt within the fins)

    is my system overcharged/ not enough freeon?

    is there not enough pag oil? (compressor does not grind, clutch runs freely)

    quick rerun: reading Low end 40-50 PSI

    expansion valve using cheap foam insulation w/ electrical tape as opposed to the heavy rubber insulation

    all lines have heavy insulation

    a/c condenser is 18 years old

    Any tips or possible causes thank you!

    *** Also the reading of my a/c was read at temperatures around 85-90+ degrees outside with the a/c on full blast and circulation on

    i do not have a temperature reader to check how cold it blows out but i do know it doesn't blow out as cold as other cars

  • Oxygen sensor location question?

    I have a 94 acura integra ls which is OBD1 and only has one oxygen sensor which plugs into the header/downpipe area instead of the cat.

    I installed some aftermarket headers, and the oxygen sensor rubs against the halfshaft now.

    if i buy a new cat w/ a sensor bung, can i plug it in there and keep the downpipe bung closed without any problems?

    or in other terms, if i plug the oxygen sensor in the catalytic converter bung (if i buy one) (which is used for a secondary oxygensor for OBD2 cars , mines is OBD1 with one sensor in downpipe), instead of the downpipe bung, will this affect the reading or reliability of my car?

  • DIY car roller paint job help?

    It's summer and i'm bored and my car looked like crap (4 tone color different body parts from different other cars, oxidized paint, but got the car for cheap)

    So i decided i wanted to try the 50 dollar paintjob as seen on youtube or on google.

    So far i have used 220 grit and an orbital sander to get all the clear coat off and most of the first coat

    afer that i cleaned it off with mineral spirits and applied rustoleum primer. after that i wet sanded with 600 grit

    then i mixed 50% mineral spirits and 50% high gloss professional rustoleum black

    let the paint sit till the bubbles gone,

    then took out as much paint as i can on the 3/8th nap roller

    and attempted to roll it on.

    Now i layed on a coat, the shine is there but it doesn't look as smooth as seen in other peoples pics

    i'm on the 2nd coat and it looks blotchy, like a lot of orange peel, but everywhere, similar to painted house walls with all the bumps everywhere,

    so i wet sanded 600 grit and cleaned it off and put on another coat

    but it still looks blotchy

    what do thing is wrong with my technique

    i'm not good at wet sanding i just sand it hard until it looks a little smoother (or do i need to sand it very anally)

    or did i not sand it down fine enough with the orbital sander (220 grit highest they had at lowes)

    want it to look smooth =[ i'm worried by the 6th coat and wet sand with higher grid it will still have the orange peely blotch effect even after the polish

  • Car has a slight hesitation, decreased power when going up hill, sometimes surges when accelerating fast?

    94 acura integra ls automatic

    i did an almost full tune up, fuel filter, oil/filter, transmission fluid drain and fill (it's at the correct level, and i used honda genuine atf) radiator drain coolant fill, air filter,

    sometimes when accelerating there is hesitation, like sometimes when i floor the car it takes awhile (couple seconds) to engage, sometimes it sounds kind of gurgling and the power isn't being distributed.

    sometimes wheni press the gas like it's not giving it it's all like how i explained when flooring it

    sometimes when i floor it it wont give it all the power and its really weak flow

    also when accelerating up hill i can feel a decrease in power and sometimes the car surges (when i press the gas to catch up with the hill the rpms shoot up to about 4000k then go back to normal, does this sometimes when speeding up to the freeway)

    sometimes the throttle response is perfect, when i floor it pulls me

    what could this be?

    transmission, fuel pump? ( i replaced the fuel filter it helped it's not as bad as before)

    MAP, throttle position sensor ( i tried banging it lightly one time when it was having the weird accleration, and test drove it it ran with more response) but it came back

    clogged catalytic converter? ( no egg smell though, my gas milelage is pretty good still 28mpg)

  • Car doesn't reach operating temperature? (middle)?

    i flushed the radiator as it was rusty and changed the coolant and thermostat

    now the car doesn't reach the middle temperature (i bought the OEM temperature) its about 2 centimeters from the left, also the radiator fan doesn't turn on once in a good while it runs though randomly, i haven't hard wired the fan to check if its broken but i'm pretty sure the motor is good because it runs sometimes

    recently it hasn't been though. i drive for about 20 minutes, and check to see if the fan is running, it isn't i touch the engine and its hot, not burning hot, but the temperature is still stuck 2 centimeters to the left never at the middle

    is this autozone thermostat stuck or something? i paid 14 bucks for that thing because oreillys was out of stock (8 dollars, damn you autozone!) (i ususally go to oreillys/kragens and get the cheapo one and i never had a problem)

    also sometimes (once in a good while) when at a stop light, or in park the temperature starts to shoot up towards over heating, what i do to make the temperature go back down is start driving or place in neutral and rev the engine and it starts to go back down.

    stuck theromstat? faulty water pump, headgasket?

    i did a thermostat test by placing in boiling water. i put a it in a pot and let the heat rise up and it didn't open up once it started boiling, but after until it start to really boil like crazy it opened up, then i put some cold water on it and then it shut back down

  • Tire size question, bought a used car that was lowered in the front.?

    94 acura integra ls, lowered i believe by an inch only in the front, the back is on stock springs or whatever.

    Factory tire size is P195/60 R14 85H

    They put 185/65 r14s in the front

    and the rear was factory tire size.

    is this setup okay?

    would this affect my gas mileage/ performance? i went on a tire size calculator and it said my speedometer was about 1.7% too slow

    Also my biggest concern is that my rear left tire got flat and i replaced it with the same size as the fronts ( 185/65 )

    so now i have 3 tires (front left/right, back left) that are at 185/65

    and my back right tire is at factory tire size (195/60)

    will this setup affect my performance/gas mileage?

    my biggest concern is safety as next week i will be traveling to los angeles

    3 tires the same size 1 tire a different size.

  • Acura Integra Automatic transmission jerking forward when accelerating while going through the gears?

    i'm looking to buy a new car, this guy is selling a 1995 automatic acura integra ls b18b1 i think with 170xxx miles (i know that honda/acuras are built to last if maintained) I revved the motor and it sounded fine, no knocking or weird noises besides noisy valves ( i know hondas do this a lot), but when in park i tried to do a transmission test or whatever, so i applied the brakes, and shifted from drive to reverse, then reverse to drive, there is about a 2 second delay and it shifts harder than normal into those gears. so i was suspicious about this. so i proceeded to test drive it i put it in drive and went to accelerate, it accelerates fine no weird noises rpm is as usual, but when changing the gears the car jerked like forward rather violently, like from 1st to second i felt it jerk foward, then 2nd to 3rd it jerked forward, i was startled so i didn't check the rpms if they were going up or down, like every time it shifted gears it jerked forward rather violently. they guy said it was just the transmission mount, he fixed it today he said it isn't as bad anymore and that "the dealer said the car is powerful so its normal to feel that" i smelt BSt, my sister had a prelude and a friend has a rsx and theirs never bogged between gears (those were manual though), a friend i know said it might be a bad throttle position sensor, i didn't have a chance to check the transmission fluid because it was dark, there are no check engine lights, the srs lights are on but it doesn't look like anything was deployed, there wasn't any bogging or hesitation, it shifted really violently into the next gear like a forward and back kind of jerk.

    i could haggle it for cheap because of this but if i do, what might the problem be?

    i have some theories in mind:

    bad throttle position sensor

    incorrect ATF fluid level/ clogged filter

    ignition/sparkplugs/distributor

    crankshaft sensor

    torque converter lockup

    anyone have any ideas?

    the car is really clean, great body, clean interior, a/c heater work, only thing is the transmission jerking and the SRS light, i'm desperate for a car right now because my mom crashed my previous one, and i could get a good deal for this, but i want to know what the problem might be with the transmission and if its something small it'll be worth it

  • I failed the smog test today, i have a high HC and NO what do you think needs to be changed?

    the previous owner said he changed the catalytic converter.. also i read somewhere that if the car makes a whining noise it could be the cat clogged, and sometimes when i accelerate i hear a whistling noise.

    i passed everything cept the asm emissions test ( i live in california darn these harsh laws!)

    @ 15mph the max HC (PPM) was 66, i scored 283 GP, and my MEAS was 70,

    for the CO the max for .57 and i got 2.07 GP and MEAS was 0.00

    For the NO (PPM) the max was 4870 and my gp was 1970 my MEAS was 2801 !!!

    for 25pmh for hc was 49 max, 233 gp, meas 77

    for co it was .55 max, 2.05 gp, .37 MEAS

    for NO 774 max, 1770 gp 226 meas

    why was the 25 mph so low in no?

    i changed the spark plugs, engine oil, transmission fluid i bought an aem carb legal cold air intake ( the previous owner put a homemade pipe on it lol)

    the muffler is an OBX -R , it looks like a giant fat pipe and it sounds loud

    also when he first started reving there was a lot of smoke, after a while there was no smoke at all

    what could be wrong? do you think the catalytic converter needs to be changed? EGR valve needs to be cleaned? Muffler change? or a bad oxygen sensor?

    the cat looks someone brownish

  • Will putting an ex transmission in a 1996 honda civic with a d16y7 motor pass smog? (is it even possible)?

    my transmission is slipping and i plan to find a new transmission to drop in, i want it to pass smog and be the easiest to swap in without losing parts or buying a new ecu or any of that thank you!
