  • When do you screed off of freshly poured concrete?

    We are pouring a large garage floor and we are gonna do it in 2 pours and i need to know how long after we poured the one side until we can use it to screed the other side?

    We wanted to pour in the morning and the next morning pour the other side. OR pour the first in the morning and the second about 48 hours later (skipping a morning.)

    I know how to pour concrete and all about the expansion joints, so no answers about that. Just want to know can you pour soon or must wait until cured.

  • How much do you feed a 2 inch Western Painted Turtle?

    She (not sure on gender but think it's a girl) eats alot and is always begging by scratching the tank everytime i enter the room and is only satisfied when i drop in a stick.

    Her current diet is a small panfish worm cut up so she doesn't choke, a few sticks and a pinch of dried shrimp. During the day i give her a few sticks totaling about 4-6.

    Am i feeding her too much? If i am why is she constantly hungry? Is it just attention she wants?

    She's gotten bigger over the last 6 months. She was about an inch and a quarter and now just under 2 inches.

    Need to know pretty soon. I love this turtle and don't want to hurt her.
