  • Is asking someone why they left their last job illegal when interviewing?

    I am creating new interview plans for my department and my boss was concerned that asking someone why they left their last job might be as bad as asking them about religion, age, etc. I have spoken to a few people with recruiting experience and they have always used this question and did not see any legal issues with it. Has anyone heard of this before?
