I`ve just gone through my fourth miscarriage in four years (at 11 weeks) and now don`t know what to do. I`m married to a lovely man, who I hate to see distressed when he can`t do anything to help me during this time. We have a strong marriage, and have discussed the future with or without children.

I`m 41 years old and all tests have proved that both my husband and I are fit and healthy and there are no known reasons for the miscarriages. This last time I had to take sick leave from work at 5 weeks, as I had all day sickness ( up to 14 times a day), which I haven`t had before. We were so sure things were going well, that it came as a shock to loose this one as well. The Dr's tell me that `age` can be a factor, but that we should try again.

I suppose my questions are... Is there anyone out there who has had a similar experience and what would you do if you were in our position?

I tried to download Google earth a few weeks ago and it wouldn`t load, I just got the following message

The problem is, whenever I switch on the laptop this message appears and will not go away. I`ve gone through the list and right clicked etc and its still there. I can move it to the bottom of the screen but it is always ther even has a little icon on the bottom bar. The last thing I treid was downloading again, its still there.

Took my car to the garage yesterday for an MOT and service and when I picked it up the trip computer was stuck on the gauge which shows approx miles to next fill up. I`ve tried to press the button to change this and it won`t change, just clicks when pressed. I`ve looked at the handbook and can`t find a way of troubleshooting this. Does anyone have any ideas how to reset this as it is quite distracting when driving? Or Do you think it has been broken by the garage?

I went for my dating scan on the 23rd and we were told that the scan image shows a 6 week old not the 10 week old we were expecting. We were then shown the heart beat (not usually seen on a 6 week scan) and were told that this was too slow. Conclusion, our longed for first child is not to be (this time) The consultant explained that I would probably miscarry during the next two weeks and I was sent home to wait for this to happen. We have an appointment for another scan in 2 weeks and I have been warned that if this shows the same thing, and the pregnancy is not viable I will either be given something to make me miscarry or have surgery.

This is our first pregnancy and neither of us knows what to expect. I have to admit that it is freaking me out a bit.

Any helpful information or wonderful words of wisdom from anyone who has been in this situation would be gratefully appreciated.

I don`t know how I`ve done it but I have deleted the `file` menu from my microsoft windows word programme. Whenever I type a new word document the `file` menu from the top bar is missing. The others are there, edit, tools etc, but file is not. This is making it next to impossible for me to `save as`. Any ideas how to get it back? I`m running Windows XP

I invited a friend from Uni and his wife to my wedding. They replied by email and said they were coming. I got a phonecall, 15 days before the wedding, saying they couldn`t come. Their meals are ordered and paid for and I don`t have time to organise anyone else to take their place. The same with their favours etc.

12 years ago when he got married I got a phone call and was asked to do the transport and photographs for their wedding. I kitted out my new car with silk flowers (which she kept) and ribbons, I took the family photos and sent them copies at no cost. I transported them to the registry office, the venue and stayed until the end to transport them home agin. They live over an hour away from me.

Am I being unreasonable? Any suggestions as to what to do a) about the meal and b) about the friendship (as this is one of a long line of let downs)

I stupidly slipped down steep set of steps last week (4 weeks and one day exactly to the wedding). I have a swollen and black/bruised ankle but have also sprained the ligaments on the inside of my knee.

I probably won`t be able to wear shoes for the wedding and have had to get used to the idea of being barefoot, but I cannot straighten my right leg at the knee at the moment.

Can anyone suggest something I can do to ease the pain and help strengthen my knee.

I know they are not broken as I have had them x-rayed. I`m beginning to worry that I won`t be able to walk properly for the wedding (now 23 days away)

My father has to give a speech at my wedding, in 6 weeks, and does not know where to start. What does he have to include and how can he start? He isn`t very funny, and it is a small gathering (45 guests) so lots of jokes might not be a good idea. Thanks.
