  • Please do not answer unless you KNOW the answer. What domesticated dog/dogs can kill a wolf 1 on 1?

I read about many dogs being killed by wolves. Mostly hounds used for hunting. Why do hunters not use a wolf fighting dog to run in the pack of the hound dogs? I would imagine there are a few dogs that could take down a wolf or at least hold it off until the hunters showed up. If I remember right, Great Pyranesse's were used to blend in with sheep and protect the flock from attacks. I am thinking farmers or ranchers would be better educated than city dwellers.

  • What Kind of Dog do I have?

Adopted a dog about 2 months ago. Was listed as a Dogo Argentino/American Bulldog mix. At first, I thought the dog was full blooded American Bulldog performance breed, Scott phenotype. The vet seemed to think American Pittbull Terrier mix/American Bulldog. Somebody else said he looked like a full blooded Dogo. He seems to have a wedge jaw structure, where American Bulldogs have a box jaw structure. Can anybody tell what he is mixed with, or if he is fullblooded. Im stumped...I uploaded his pictures at snapfish, the album is at http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailshare/AlbumID=25...

  • I just rescued a 9mo old American Bulldog puppy, He seems to sleep alot, is this normal?

After researching the breed, the description says that they have endless energy, but this guy will stop playing suddenly and just plop down and rest. Now he was a rescue, and I have only had him for 5 days now could it be he is just out of shape? I do believe he was made to fight because of the scars on his eyebrow, muzzle, and ear. However he is not an aggressive dog, he is not an Alpha male type dog, he is not energetic like I thought he would be. At 9mo old, I would assume that he would be out of the puppy stage by now? Also, while im asking, is he done growing tall at 9mo?

  • What are the advantages and disadvantages of races breeding together?

The United States is probably the biggest melting pot on the globe. I work at a Military Base and see many mixed kids. Im 32 now and when I was growing up it was taboo to have interacial kids or relationships for that matter. Times have changed and people are having mixed children one hundred fold now. Do you think mixing is genectically positive? I think of it like dogs. Pure breeds have their genetic problems, but mutts typically have less health problems. Will this be the same for humans? My general stereotype of the races is this: Whites-Leadership/agressive, Blacks-Athletic/passive agressive, Yellow-Intelligent/passive, Red-Spititual/passive (now) aggressive (past). Will the babies take on multi strengths or will the brain be at conflict? In short, I envision a world of brown people 300 years from now, after all of the mixing takes place. Will humans be a better species?

  • Is it possible that Humans are not native to this planet?

We have no functional hair on our bodies (like other mammals), we have many diseases, we have numerous allergies, and we have poor sensory organs (compared to many other mammals). If we evolved on this planet, shouldnt have natural selection weeded out the inherit problems? Our evolution seems broken. Modern medicine is less than 75 years old. I understand that medicine stops the evolutionary process, but there is evidence that we have been on this planet for hundreds of thousands of years in some shape or form. I just feel that Humans are outcast on earth. Survival of the fittest and natural selection should have benefitted us tens of thousands of years ago. As far as religion goes, if God created us in his own imagine, why do we break so easily? Cancer, arthritis, diabetes, etc.
