So, I recently bought clippers so I can cut my 4 yr old sons hair at home and save money and time at the hairdressers. The clipper came with different size heads so I tried googling and youtubing videos on a size 4 to see how short my sons hair would turn out to be. Thing is, every video I came across always showed ppl using at least 2 or 3 sizes for fading purposes. I was only planning on using just a size 4 for the whole head. Why make it so complicated? Will it turn out good if I just use one size? Is it very necessary to fade? I'm not concerned about cool, different hair styles, I just want his hair all even and short!

So I currently have blonde hair and want to go dark chocolate brown. I Went to Sally's today and bought Loreal Preference, mega brown in chocolate (Level 4 red/violet base). On the bottle it says to use 20 developer so that is what I got. Now, my friend is telling me that I should have got the 10. But I heard 10 developer just deposits and makes it semi-permanent. Will using the 20 developer on my blonde hair be bad? Will I get the same color result as using a 10? Also, since the hair dye has a red base, do I still need a filler or am I ok?

I am looking into buying a Honda Civic. I saw one and the owner is asking $3,900. It is a 2002 Civic Sedan with 230 000 km on it (primarily highway) and says there's no issues. Do you think she is asking too much? How much should i offer? I personally think its too much with how many kms are on it but i would like to see what you all think since i don't know THAT much about cars. Thanks

I have an appointment with a ENT to find out for sure but would like to know if other moms or dads have been in a similar situation. So, when my son was born the nurse said he was perfectly healthy but they did notice he was tongue tied on the bottom of tongue and that he should get it clipped asap as it would effect feeding and speech BUT since he took to the breast just fine, i didn't think i needed to worry. Fast forward to today. My son is 4 years old and has had a speech delay since he was 2. He has seen speech pathologists and is now at a preschool specifically for kids with speech delay so the pathologists can work with them one on one everyday and also i have another pathologist come to our home once a month. I don't know WHY i waited so long to put 2 and 2 together....i feel so bad cuz i feel like this could have been delt with as soon as he was born! Like i said, we have an appointment with a ENT specialist and was wondering, would they do the clipping right in the office or would we have to make another appointment? I hope not because i waited 6 months for this appointment already! And what exactly will they do? How long is recovery? I feel bad for my lil man but i hope it will improve his speech. Any info on the procedure will be helpful and would like to hear from other similar stories.

My fiance talks about having his bachelor party at a full contact strip club in Montreal. Now, i don't mind him going and LOOKING at strippers like the saying, "you can look but you can't touch" but he was saying how he wanted to rub her boobs bla bla and i think that it totally disrespectful to me! We have 2 kids together and are practically married anyways so, i dunno full contact seems inappropriate. Would you think its kinda like cheating if HE was the one touching the stripper? or as my fiance says "thats what you do at the strip club for your bachelor party"

My hair is a disaster right now...last night i used john frieda brown black dye on my light brown hair and now its medium brown with random patches of light brown. Looks so bad! I do not suggest that hair dye! Ugh and now i need to redye it. I really like the Garnier brand but i can't seem to find brown/black only "intense dark brown" or "black" but i don't want to commit to solid black. Is intense dark brown the same as brown/black? I need to cover up those hideous patches in my hair and make the color all even :(

A month ago i went ombre (dark on top and blonde on bottom) but i got bored of it so i dyed it deep purple...not bright but more of a dark brown with hints of purple. Problem now is the purple on top is still there but the ends are light brown. It totally washed out and i know if i dye it purple again the same thing is going to happen cuz there aren't enough pigment in purple to stick to blonde. Anyways, now i just want to go to my natural color which is a dark chocolate brown (golden undertone). My question is, will it cover up the purple? or still leave a purple tint and will it still leave a purple tint once it fades? I just don't want to go black or strip my hair

Soooo i went to the salon 2 1/2 weeks ago to get my hair colored (burgundy) and 3 days later when i washed my hair, the color totally washed out and left my hair a medium brown/orange! so i went back last week to get the hairdresser to fix it and what do you know, it washed out AGAIN. I even waited 5 days to wash it. I'm pissed! I'm done wasting my time going to the salon. My hair looks like **** so i bought a box dye and plan to dye it a very dark brown. Do you think if i dye it tonight it would be too soon? Have you dyed your hair 3 times in 3 weeks and your hair turned out good? Obviously it's going to be damaging...i just want the color to hold. Ugh, stupid hairdressers. Usually you go there to FIX your hair not try to fix their mistake at home

I can't find any reviews anywhere on these 2 hair dyes i'm considering. Can't decide which one i want. Have you, or anyone you know used either

Trying to find out if my employer is not paying me for a half hr....it's been going on for a while now. So, i start at 4pm, have 30 min dinner break (unpaid) and work till 12:30am. How many HOURS exactly am i getting paid?? Just seeing if other answers match to mine. I'm gunna kick someone's a$$ if i am right and have been working for free!

I was on depo for almost 2 years. It was great! Never had side effects and no periods! yay! but my doctor switched me because he doesn't suggest using it for more than 2 years so now im on ortho cyclen. I started taking it on monday and ever since, i have felt nauseous! I have also lost my appetite. I take it at night with food but once i wake up i feel sooo sick and it lasts all day. Will this eventually go away? If so, approx. how long? and could it be due to the estrogen? Anyone else take ortho cyclen with same experience?

I just got a new birth control today (monday) and i would really like to start my packs on Sundays rather than Mondays. Would it be safe to take 2 pills tonight so im caught up?

My husband and i took a trip down to Montana (we live in AB, Canada) and my husband wanted to buy a gun because they are way cheaper than here in Canada. So we go to a gun store and the guy was just about to sell him a gun right until my husband pulled out his WIN card (hunting license) and was telling the guy about it. Then he says no, he won't sell to Canadians. Now, why is that? because the Canadian border will allow you to bring a gun back as long as you have your gun license. They just took away registration here for non restricted guns so it wouldnt even need to be registered. That's messed up! I mean sure, we are from another country but they will sell guns to ANYONE in the states but won't sell it to a Canadian that has a gun license and a hunting license?

Does anyone know if they will be able to have the camera crew in and show it live on tv? I would love to see what he has to say! Obviously everyone does too

My husbands girl-friend just came to town for a visit. They havent seen eachother in a year. Last night my husband, his girl-friend, another guy friend (who shes staying with) and myself went to a party. All night they were flirting with eachother which really bothered me but didn't say anything. They were talking and laughing with eachother like i wasnt even there....pretty much being ignored. When we left he kept going on about how funny,sweet nice bla bla she was then said he was horny for me HA! was probably horny for her. Anyways, today they decided to go zip lining and drink. I couldn't go because i have to watch the kids...actually, they didn't even ask me if i wanted to go. I don't trust this girl....just got a weird feeling about her. I guess i am jealous because the way he acts with her isnt the same with me and i am a bit paranoid because i have been cheated on in the past. I thought my ex was faithful until it happened. So, can a man be friends with another woman with no attraction at all? I'm just worried this girl will just randomly kiss him and he wouldnt pull away. We havent been really intimate lately so who knows what he would do! ahhh thank god she doesnt live here. Do i have a reason to be paranoid or just give him the benefit of the doubt?

My husband will tell me at 4pm that he has a job to do (lawn care/side job) and says he won't be too long and will be home for dinner. He calls his friend to go help him (yes, im sure he calls his guy friend). The problem is, he won't come home till 11-2am! Doesn't even have the RESPECT to call and tell me he won't be home for dinner or he's going out drinking...its almost like he doesn't want me to know where he is. He doesn't have a cell so theres no way of calling him. This happens AT LEAST once or twice a week. We do have 2 children together and im always the one to take care of them by myself. Would you put up with that? He isnt acting responsible! I'm thinking, if he wants to act like a single guy and do whatever he wants than he's going to be single very soon! I wait up until he gets home and he reaks of booze and when i talk to him about it he doesn't care and does it over and over again! I need to put my foot down but what do i say/do? Just leave? easier said than done! Ugh, can you tell im waiting up for him AGAIN? 1230am....not impressed.

I have a problem with shade selection for the studio fix powder foundation from MAC. I did go to the counter but each time the shade did not match my skintone. I first tried NC20 but its too light, then i tried NC25 which was too orange. I was looking on their website and it ranges from the lightest to darkest and noticed NC30 was before NC25. NC30 looked lighter and more yellow/beige toned compared to the NC25 which is really orange. So, is NC30 actually lighter than NC25?
