  • Can a teacher go through a students facebook?

    During a soccer game at my school there was a rough soccer game.

    I was on a group talking about the other team and I said roughly that I was "amped to injure their entire team" and said that I would "tackle him as hard as I could". Needless to say, a player told their coach, who told their vp, called mine and I got sent in.

    During the talk about what should happen, (no police involved at all). For a one game suspension that he already had told me was the punnishment, he told me he wanted to make sure I deleted the posts. (I did this a couple of days before). Me thinking he would just see the post I SHOWED him, I accepted. He then went through the entire groups messages on MY account and essentially looked through it all. Is there anything legally wrong from this? I live in Ontario Canada if this makes a difference. I just don't know if they are aloud to do this and I would really like to get a straight answer as all of the teachers that I asked didn't give me a straight answer.

    Long story short: Can a teacher go through your facebook under those circumstances? I consented to him looking at the post, not through the entire group.

  • Is this job offer I got posting a resume a scam?

    Basically I posted my resume on kijiji stating I was looking for part time work and that I have food and beverage experience. I got an email as follows:

    Hello! I'm responding to your ad on kijiji. I'm currently building my business team in and around the GTA and is wondering if you are interested to become a part of the largest independent financial company in North America. You can reach me at ***-***-**** if you would like to explore and learn more. Thanks! Looking forward to seeing you!

    <Insert Girls Name Here>

    So, I called her and asked her what the position was as it was very vague in the description, she then proceeded to cloud my vision even more on the subject then suggesting we meet over coffee for her to explain it. She then asked to meet somewhere out of the area that I posted, I then stated where I lived and arranged a place to meet with her inside a well known mall. I also asked if there was an investment that needed to be made in order to join, ie. pay to learn a skill, teach it to people BS. She said that isn't what they are all about, so I decided to meet her on the Friday.

    Anybody else have something similar happen to them or know what kind of a job she is going to try to hit me with? All I know is that it is in the financial industry, should I even meet up with her Friday? She seemed pretty eager to offer me a position in what ever it was without getting to know me or actually seeing a legitimate copy of my resume. (I have to send it to you after you email me your response).

    Seems fishy,

    Thoughts?

  • Math Question, Easy 10 Points?

    Two students want to determine the heights of 2 buildings. They stand on the roof of the shorter building. The students use a clinometer to measure the angle of elevation of the top of the taller building. The angle of 44 degrees. From the same position, the students measure the angle of depression of the base of the taller building. The angle is 53 degrees. The students then measure the horizontal distance between the two buildings. The distance is 18.0m. The students drew this diagram. How tall is each building?
