  • Who are some of the worlds best thinkers who are still active?

I need to write a 10 page paper for a philosophy class on who i think is a great thinker who is still active. I am unable to think of anyone who fits the bill. It can be someone in any field as long as they have some sort of work (a book, a piece of art etc). It would also help if you could list the work that they have completed. Thanks!

  • Any good places near Chicago to go wading for salmon?

I am looking for somewhere near chicago where it is possible to catch salmon while wading. I am willing to drive but I would like to find something below the Wisconsin border. Its getting to be that time of year again and I think it would be a big rush to be in the water with them. thanks

  • Where can I bowfish in chicagoland area?

I have been really interested in going bowfishing but i have had a really hard time finding where I can do it. I have looked all over and have been hearing many conflcting things. On the ILDNR website it says that you can do it where there is no 2 pole restriction on the water. However, on the bowfishing association of illinois website it gives places that you can do it but there is a 2 pole restriction on some of those lakes. I know that you can do it on the Illinois river, but i live in Palatine and I dont want to drive 2 hours to get to starved Rock. I just dont want to go somewhere and get a fine from the game wardens for shooting where im not allowed.

I would really like to fish on the chain of lakes since it is fairly close to my house.

  • Forensic Biochemistry Degree?

I plan on getting a Forensic Biochemistry bachelors degree from Northern Michigan university. I was just wondering if anybody in the forensics field thinks that this would be a good plan for me, Im just a little worried that going to Northern Michigan may be a mistake because it isn't the most prestigious of schools, but it is in my price range. I talked to one of the counselors and they told me that it woould prepare me for work in a government lab or in the private sector.

  • What arrow rest should I use for Bowfishing?

I got an older compound from my grandpa and the arrow rest that he had on it was broken. It was just a plain adhesive arrow rest. I want to use this bow for bowfishing mainly and im not sure what rest to get. I want to get a whisker bisket but there are no screw holes for a rest. Am I stuck with having to get another adhesive?

    Thanks
