I am 15 and 8 months ago i was diagnosed with Poly cystic Kidneys, the doctor said that i had less than 10% function in one of my kidneys, and just over 90% in the other.

The doctor said that because of the lack of function in my kidneys, i was unable to play rugby (union) anymore. This was a devastating blow to me, my club and my rep team.

I had only recently accepted the fact that my rugby career was over, until someone mentioned something about a kidney belt. I have not yet spoken to my doctor or the specialist about whether i would be safe wearing the best while i play, and i just want to know where i would get one, and if they are even legal in the rugby rules.

I have been searching the net for the past few days and all i have found were carbon fiber back protection for Moto-Cross racers, which would not be legal in rugby. Does anyone know of a rugby legal kidney belt. and has anyone been through something i am going through?

Question 1: Should i go fully shaven, to the skin, shiny?

Question 2: If i do go fully shaven, will it grow back a different colour, style, thickness?

mainly for cruising, a bit of downhillling, and a lot of dancing and carving? which is good for all? (also i might double people sometimes)

im not a hardcore longboarder, its just fun going out some weekends and just cruising around with some mates. also we shoot videos, and im the camera man, so which would be a good stable platform aswell?

also, my first board was a zflex 38 pintal, (yes i know, not very good) haha but now i love pintails coz theyre soo chill? anyways, help me find the right board :) thankyou guys

so prettymuch i've had my d5100 since october, and ive only had the standard kit 18-55 3.5-5.6 lens and its not doing much for me anymore. It doesnt have enough reach and the aperture is too slow. I want a telephoto zoom with a fast aperture for night sport photography mainly and i dont know what to get.

$1000 is probably my price limit, maybe a touch over that. The Sigma and Tamron 70-200 look good but their auto focus seems too slow to shoot what i want to shoot. Also i like the nikon build quality. (Club/Representative Rugby Union, i used to play but i have had kidney problems and the doctor says i cant play anymore)

Firstly, the Nikon 70-200 2.8 is over double my budget, i wish i could get it, but its not gonna happen. So that leaves the Nikon 80-200 2.8. and i know what your thinking, "BUT KID THE AUTO FOCUS ISN'T COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR D5100" I know! and that annoys me but I'm not ruling it out of the list. it looks like a really nice lens and that's the only worry i have with it, using manual focus all the time will get a lot of photos that are out of focus. But it seems a better quality lens than the Sigma and Tamron and if i do eventually get a new body, the Auto Focus will work on that and i will have a good Telephoto zoom WITH autofocus! but that wont be any time soon.

Any Help guys would be really really really appreciated!!

also if you can recommend any other lenses that would do the job better for maybe a little less? that would be nice too :)

i am looking for a lens with a fast f stop, 2.8 or faster, since it will mainly be used for taking photos of my friends playing footy on a friday night since i cant play any more with kidney issues. any for not too much over $1000 would be nice since im 15 and not making that much money the tamron 70-200mm 2.8 has been the main lens i have been looking at, since the nikon equivalent is more expensive and doesnt auto focus on my d5100. any help/ recommendations/ advice would be reeaaalllyy appreciated!! :)

ive barely ever skated before, but its coming into summer and i want a fast way to get around town and something to do. as i said i'd mainly only use it to cruise around town to friends houses ect. i want a longboard coz theyre easy to ride and they cruise around :p

i am 15, 60 kilos and about 5 foot 9, i play scrumhalf and am renowned for my fitness and endurance in the game. my next best sport it running. i have a runners body, skinny tall, long legs. in one of the off season training sessions, in all the tackling drills i got tossed around like a ragdoll :/ it made me open my eyes and think, wow, am i skinny! haha anyways, i wanna get bigger, quick. before the footy season starts. i had been hospitalised with a kidney disorder earlier in the year, about august. so that ended my season this year. 2013 is predicted to be my last season of footy, since one of my kidney is dying. i want my last few seasons to be memorable. haha :) any tips would be nice :)

i am a competitive runner but i always race in my trainers (adidas supernova sequence) which are very heavy and dont breathe very well at all. i recently bought a pair of five finger shoes by vibram as my main race shoes, i run in them every second day. what are the pros and cons of running in them, i know they dont have any support (and i have weak knees) but each time i run in them i feel fine. will there be any long term damage from them or....?

i am 15, just saying. and also , what is the best way to run in them? :)

i am 15 years old, i run 5km (3.1 mi i think) races at a state level, but not very competitively. i can make the state competition but once im there im not very competitive, and i usually. i run it come around 20th out of like 60 people. the first 10 people go to the national level. my pb 5k time is 16:38, but i usually run it around 18-19 minutes. i want to get as close to 15 minutes as possible. i have adidas supernova sequences as my trainers and i recently bought a pair of vibram five finger shoes to race in.

i mainly dubstep moonwalk, in socks on my polished wood floorboards. i can do it ok in my granny shoes but they fall off my ankles really easily. can you please name a brand, or type of shoe. not just say "anything with a smooth flat sole" and also, the cooler they look the better :)

im a 15 year old guy so i dont wanna use makeup, AT ALL! any tips on making my eyes brighter or change the colour to a lighter brown? any clothing colour tips, maybe eyedrops or something? it sounds kinda gay or girly or whatever i know. (no offence intended) but i wanna be the kid with "those eyes" know what i mean?

i might be getting it second hand off someone, just thinking will it work as good as it can on a nikon d5100? and also, he wants $850-900 for it?

my brother drives cars and does triathlons, and im the camera guy. he wants me to be able to take photos like the one above. i am new to dslr photography and have had my camera (nikon d5100) for only a few months. i still only have the 18-55mm lens, but i am soon going to get a 80-200mm lens second hand off a friend. i would like to know the shooting mode, shutter speed, ect. some techniques/ tips on how to do it and also, do i need a tripod?

i have long narrow feet with high arches. i "roll in" when i run. i run mainly 5-10km cross country races at a state level. i like running barefoot, both for the feel and the less weight. i was thinking either getting a pair of adidas adizero feather runners (for the weight) or some five finger shoes (weight & feel) i dont know if its a good idea getting five finger shoes off the internet because of my oddly shaped feet. and please dont suggest getting free runs, hate the shoe and hate the brand. also if youre from aus, do you know any stores in northern new south wales that would sell 5 finger shoes?
