I have a battery charging icon and its at 91%....what battery...its not a laptop..i never had this problem in over 2 years that i owned this computer...was fine yesterday...maybe windows updates screwed somethin up?...also missing a strip of screen space on top and bottom of monitor..bout half inch each...doesnt cut my screen its just smaller...played with settings..nothing helps...?????????? any ideas

01 jetta..makes a pretty loud buzzing/?grinding noise as i start the car..been doin this for a pretty long time...is it the starter or what could it b?

well basically what i wrote in the title. The compressor pulley spins fine until i turn the a/c on then it completely seizes making the car shake because the belt goes around the stopped pully..no i dont drive around like that..my belt would probably snap.

my car..01 jetta..last year the a.c was fine..now i tried it and it will run for a bit then the pulley will freeze up and the car shakes really bad so i have to turn the a/c off...this would mean i need a new compressor right? my gfs car..05 tucson..if the fan is on.i am 99% sure the a/c is always on because its very cold and when i park i see water dripping from the a/c drain tube..so its stuck on all the time..explains the slight drop in gas mileage since last year and lack of power?

i thought it was rear bearing and i changed one but that didnt help..i usuall hear it when im slowing down (i dont even have to use brakes for it to happen)..i also hear it on the highway though and my transmission isnt exactly in perfect condition so i think it might be that unless something is adjusted wrong with the linkage to cause my shifting problems. when i first bought the car it was extremely loud the first couple of days..maybe one of the front bearings..i dont know..on the highway it seems like a quickly repeating hum but slowing down it seems like a contionuos long one. thanks.. 01 jetta 1.8t..i changed my brake pads not too long ago, i noticed the seals were in really bad shape (both of them) the pistons scew back in and there was no leakeage so i thought they were ok to use. Brakes worked and work fine. (maybe not as good as they should but i cant tell) Basically though i just want to know if i should replace them because after i did my pads my hand brake was nice and tight but as time passed it loosened up and now it barely even holds my car in place so i was thinking the pistons dont hold pressure because of the seals. no leaks though so maybe something can be adjusted'? i dunno

Well i took it completely apart to check something, put it back together exactly how it was (didnt even have any screws left over. Seems pretty dead now, cant even get into bios. I took it apart again and didnt see anything wrong so i dont have a clue what could of happened unless the greedy repair place did something when they took it to the back for some reason (they were pretty eager for me to bring it back because they "could look at it" but it would have to be in the case so they can charge extra couple hundred for labor..( just needed headphone jack replaced) Its not even mine and im out of work so that makes it even better that i have to spend couple hundred i dont have..I read a few artices online about people having the same problem with this particular model but no solutions. Any ideas? thanks

first one of my plecos died it had a couple of holes in its body i thought maybe the other fish nipped at it since i started giving them little fish to eat once a week..but then my other pleco died..my giant parrot fish is just sitting in one spot everyday not moving around...one of my silver dollars has some jelly looking stuff on one side..my synodantis catfish looks like someone took out chunks of top layer of his skin (just in few spots) (my other fish dont seem too excited either) i dont know if the fish i started feeding them were sick or had some bacteria but i just really need to get this taken care of before they all die out...i just cleaned out the filter and going to get some tablets to put in there..any ideas, input, or questions appreciated thanks

i wasnt getting any warm air in the morning then when i got on the highway i noticed the engine was hot and the light came on..so overheating is the problem and the cause is the fans not turning on?...they turn on when i turn on ac but it was still overheating so i dont know if its the waterpump now or thermostat. mechanic told me fan switch but its out of stock everywhere (didnt try the dealer yet because im not in a rush to get ripped off) im tired i dont feel like taking the car apart, working on it with no result. I changed the radiator few weeks ago. ideas?

the pads i got dont have the sensor because theyre not oem i guess..and the light is on so what can ido? didnt see any fuse for it...can i just connect the 2 wire ends together?

its connected at one end but not the other..on the side behind carpet it.i noticed it when i took cd changer out.

i just changed the battery now i have to open/close doors manually..i only have one key..read a few things that required 2 keys..anyway to program mine or do i have to go to dealer n get ripped off?

basically what the question says..i only use the card once for something that was a couple of dollars...the other person decided to go buy somethin that was thousands and thousands and couldnt pay it off..i didnt think that would affect me so i thought i had good credit because i am very good with my bills..but turns out i cant even get a new credit card because i have a serious delinquency and i checked my credit report and the high amount was on there as if i did it...right im going to pay someones crazy debt..cant even get a new car or anything because of this ....any ideas?

is there one?...i was going to do my rear brakes tomorrow but now im a little confused because i seen (online) they have rear shoes for 20 bux and then i seen rear parking brake shoes for 30 so...? what it is that suppose to mean because it just really confused me..dont see how they would both fit on because there obviously isnt space for 4 pads in each drum and i only remember seeing 2 last time i checked...

i just bought a transmission filter and theres a gasket but i see a sealant around the pan(i didnt take it out yet) ..so just wondering if its good to use the gasket or a gasket maker sealant or the gasket and some sealant...your way of doing it?

im not sure if this is the order it went in but i had a oil leak so they changed my camshaft and crankshaft seal and while they were at it i had them do the timing belt and water pump...still had a leak got the rear main seal done and now some time down the road its leaking transmission fluid again...i put in lots of money in this car many things not even listed but obviously you need to get to work somehow so i kinda wanna just get this fixed and sell it because its been trouble since day one..after the initial repair though (water pump,timing,etc) i heard a weird noise from the engine like kind of a diesel noise or knock or belt flapping..never really had a chance to get it checked out except a quick look and i got a "air conditioner clutch bearing" answer but who knows just odd how that started after they fixed other stuff...my ac doesn't work though so could be that but it also could be something in the engine causing the seal to go? sorry for all the junk just kinda confusing and annoying how i cant get this car working properly so just looking for ideas...bad crankshaft?/needs to be balanced? or something with the transmission is causing the seal to go? i noticed some engine oil on an axle when i was changing the oil today..the more i look the less i wanna see the car in the driveway..are dodges good cars? this one obviously isn't but maybe charger or srt 4 a little more reliable? open to newer car suggestions under 15k..this one is a 98. maybe a non related but i have problems with my shifter..sometimes i can put in neutral but its really reverse and has to be in a really specific spot for neutral or drive is sometimes neutral and i have to pull it back because it sometimes would go out of gear and i can move from D to N without even pushing the button..something not adjusted or replacement of something needed?..(transmission work was supposedly done before i got the car) the head was replaced by a previous owner(at dealership)..my mechanic said the rear main seal was in terrible shape when they took it out like the engine was baked(maybe y the had to change head) so im guessing theres a chance of internal damage which means very expensive and not good news for me...thank you for your time and any ideas/input you have.

ive been coughing since winter so my dr gave me a pump and it seemed to help but recently ive been having a really bad chest pain. its calming down but nownim having a harder time breathing and i cant take a deep breath or it hurts..had x-rays done, they dont know what could be wrong..only thing they came up with was some muscle strain from all the coughing and allergy medicine...very helpful when i can barely get dressed.

or what do you have that works good?
