Libertarian till' Death

These people who have been sleeping for years need to realize who the Libertarians are all about.

The last thing we need in anything is more government.

Prepare students to become efficient leaders? Public schools teach the youth to obey and not question. Colleges teach the young adults to listen to a lecture and parrot the material back to the professor, who has probably only taught his own opinions.

If it makes you feel good, Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, etc... have all gone to these schools to "get an education". You don't see any Jeffersonians or Madisons coming from these schools.

are both for restraints of some kind?

i.e. The average liberal has a problem with me making money and using that money as I wish. They believe that I must submit down to the all-powerful government and sacrifice my earned cash (extortionate taxes). They also believe I should just give stuff away involutarily (leaving no room for generosity).

i.e the average conservative will let me handle my economic business, but damn, when I want to get that cool tattoo or smoke some weed (not that I beleive in those things anyways) they are on my @ss. Shouldn't I be allowed to do anything I want as long as I don't harm others or break promises?

Until we bring back manufacturing jobs to the US? We aren't going to create any real growth with healthcare or education, so why aren't we focusing on production and the exportation of goods?

It's basics economics.

Economists are saying the true unemployment rate as of now is about 17.5%. It counts those who were fired from real jobs and are now working part-time jobs and those who have stopped looking for jobs.

If you're not going into a field that requires a degree by law, DON'T GO. Huge waste of time and money.

I can understand being proud of your country and the importance of patriotism, but god, some of these people on here take it way too far. And why do many treat it as a crime when one insults the government?

We liberate (or attempt to liberate) Iraq and Afghanistan, but we don't even have our own **** in order! When will someone free us from our out - of - control government?

Interpret that anyway you like.

Or are the Democrats the lesser of two evils?

And if you are one of these two, why do you represent evil?

For instance:

Republicans (Right wing of the spectrum): Great on economic policies, the free market, trade, etc., but very poor on social policies (i.e. gay rights, abortion, legalizing drugs, or anything that strays from "traditional values").

Democrats (Left wing of the spectrum): Great on social policies, gay rights, control over our personal lives, but very poor on economic policies (restriction on the free market, poor trust in the private sector, trusts government management over EVERYTHING, etc.)

Our Founding Fathers would cry at the notion of there being too parties who both fail at ensuring our individual liberties are safe.

There have been reports of both low civilian casualities and high civilian casualties, but whatever the number, we possibly can't win the approval of the Afghan people if we keeping knocking out their civilians.

Is there any excuse for this? I don't want to hear the age-old excuse, "Oh, well what were civilians doing in Taliban infested areas in the first place?" Remember, that's not necessarily the case. The Taliban are known for coming to civilian - infested areas to invoke civilian casualties. It's strategy. We can't win this war.

Once the people realize what the Federal Reserve has been doing since 1913 and that the destruction of our dollar is inevitable, you would think that a massive uprising of the public would prevail afterwards.

The FED says that disclosing their information would hurt the economy. When have they not said that? They've got something to hide, and they know the public won't be happy about it.

It's gross seeing both grown men and women screaming at each other because they believe that their party is less "evil". Does a nation ever last long when two groups of people are always accusing others of their nation's problems? Jesus Christ, it's like watching something from one of those reality shows on MTV. Disgusting!
