  • my pictures from my digital camera got deleted without me pressing the delete button...!!!?

    i was trying to upload pictures to my computer from my camera, when all of a sudden my camera shuts off!! the battery was dead, so i switched the batteries! then i plugged my camera back in to my laptop, but the pictures were now write protected??? how does that happen, so i take out the memory card from the camera & insert it to my laptop. that 's when the pictures begin to upload, but i got 4 of every picture, and up to a certain point back. from a certain date forward the pictures i took were deleted or erased without me pressing delete!! can someone please help?!?!? i want my pictures back..... i had pictures from my brother's b-day, my b-day, my child on halloween, x-mas, new years!!! help greatly appreciated
