  • I am currently applying to university to study nursing, but I don't understand the entry requirements...?

    I have an HNC in Social Science with a 'B' pass.

    I also have an Advanced Higher in Religious, Moral and Philosophical Studies at 'D'. (Or a 'B' at Higher.)

    I have a 'B' in Higher English.

    However the courses I am applying to require a Standard Grade '3'. While I have a Standard Grade '4', although my HNC covered core numeracy within the Research Methods section of the course.

    I've nearly completed my UCAS and I am enrolled in a Ward Volunteering programme in a local hospital.

    Basically, I'm panicking cause I don't know if it's even worth me applying to these courses due to my lack of qualifications in mathematics..

    I have the Highers, or the HNC. But my Standard Grades let me down and my HNC might not even be transferrable for the course.

    Help?
